Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The pillows were old and lumpy. Mattresses not much better Massages in the Spa were good. Staff very helpful. Dinner in the WEST restaurant is a must. Grab rails in ALL the showers and baths is essential. Definitely danger of slipping and falling without them

Worst hotel in Tel Aviv Super pricey for what it is Can’t put anything on tv except for national Chanels Safe was broken Ordered a platter of cheese cause there was nothing else available I payed 50€ for a platter that had more fruits than cheese I had to pay an extra for someone to bring it up to my room Even the waiter that came up said he felt sorry And the receptionist had the audacity to tell us we could leave if we wanted to put still had to pay for the full booking

Our suite was beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful (we had a few complicated requests due to travel changes), everyone went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

Although the hotel itself is lovely and modern, the staff needs better training in how to treat guests. Some of the staff were nice and helpful but those were few and far between. Some of the wait staff at breakfast were not trained and were not very efficient or useful. They forgot to put in orders or forgot to get them. The staff at the concierge desk were generally snooty and unhelpful. Instead of trying to get cabs, we were told it would take too long. A hotel of this calibre should be able to supply a power adapter but they insisted they had none. Check-in was very slow. Though we waited there for a long time, it wasn’t until I asked whether our room was ready that they said it had been for a while. There were fancy long pink lights that stayed on all night, disturbing our sleep. In order to get those shut off, they also shut off some of the other lights so at night the room was rather dim. The general atmosphere there was not pleasant. I would not stay there again.

Tel Aviv is going through an incredible building surge but this hotel manages to be a relatively quiet and very comfortable oasis amidst all the din. Staff is extremely responsive and pleasant. Buffet breakfasts are incredible with multiple choices of top quality foods. Dining on the veranda was a treat. Their Friday evening Shabbat dinner was also bountiful, excellent quality and over the top good. Negatives are, the pool hours are limited, so early risers can’t access it. The hall lighting is dim and finding a room can be a bit disorienting due to the lack of well lit signage. Not much dresser space to my recollection and the room thermostats were also challenging. Instructions would be a nice addition. I’m not sure why there are no lobby bathrooms but when they refurbish it I would certainly add them. Not the fanciest place but definitely 4 stars.

Just called the hotel to follow up my friends reservation and after been waiting 20 minutes of people transferring me to other departments, I finally reach at the reception ! A lady answered me and when I asked when the room is ready she said 3pm with out know if my name and wich kind of room ! I told her how you give such fast answer before check my name in your system she said very rudely that all the rooms will be ready at 3 pm only. I asked her then to call me if the room is before and she refused saying that the hotel had a lot of rooms and assuming that I want to do early check in,I just called for a question!!!! I asked to speak with a manager because my friend is not paying a small amount to receive this kind of service and treat . She said manager is not available and she will take my phone to the manager call me back, I asked her name and she turn off the phone of my face. I called after and I don’t know if she lied to me or not but her name if Liad and she shouldn’t be a receptionist, don’t know how to deal with guest and answer a phone. Just sad for such hotel.

Lovely hotel by the beach in Tel Aviv. Rooms are a little dated. Pool area is small but lovely. Nice spa. However, the service is amazing. Food is great. Our waiter Avinoam was so attentive. Having a great time.

The hotel is conveniently located, but service is grossly under par. Photos are beautiful but extremely misleading. The pool is rather small and very congested. No amenities for the beach are available. We booked an executive room, which was quite small, however, that provided access to the business lounge. The service in the business lounge was excellent! Front desk personnel are completely unhelpful. They refused to accept valid Israeli currency, any request was met with excuses. Noa, a woman at the front desk, was beyond surly and rude. Due to a medical emergency I needed to get to the hospital. Nora’s response was that she could not help and I should stand in line at the bellman stand. No offer of assistance was made nor any received. I tried to speak to the hotel manager the next day, but no manager was ever available. There are many nearby hotels. I encourage visitors to visit those hotels and save yourself from this overpriced under-serviced facility.

Eight-hour flight delays, wreak havoc on your travel plans, psyche and sleep pattern! Especially, when you’re trying to decide, if your next slumber will uncomfortably occur while sprawled out on an airport floor or curled up like a pretzel in a gate chair. Unless… You have creative hotel leadership who understands your flight plight and is willing to graciously extend your checkout time with minimal hassle and cost. Folks like; Nicole and Amir on the executive team at the Royal Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv. On behalf of my wife Sheryl and longtime, dear friends and travel companions Fred & Sue-Ellen, thanks to both of you for eliminating the frustration and exhaustion. Toda raba! Jeff & Sheryl B. and Fred & Sue-Ellen D.

Royal Beach was the perfect hotel to end our two weeks in Israel. Situated across from the beach and within walking distance of some of the great neighborhoods it was just what we were looking for. Our room on the 11th floor was lovely with a little balcony overlooking the Mediterranean. Our last day in Tel Aviv was spent across the street at the beach. The hotel will give you towels. I loved the high energy buzz of this hotel. The staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend the Royal Beach
