I really disliked this hotel. My experience was: -Unhelpful, inflexible and smug staff -No lift in the "apartment" block -Dirty (see photos of dust motes and other people's old cigarettes INSIDE the room) -Dated, soulless decor -depressing balcony, dead plants -Little sound insulation from street noise -In need of redecoration and replacing many fixtures -Rubbish bins by entrance, loads of...

For the first night they offered the room N°1 as a standard room on the ground floor. Avoid getting this room. The bedroom was quite dark, and it was very noisy too. The room was not clean, old and needs to be renovated with more than just paint. After the first night we had a chance to get a standard...

I stayed at this hotel for only one evening between an organized trip and my flight back to New York. I checked in late at night and just wanted to take a shower and climb into bed to get some sleep before an early flight the next morning. I was surprised that my hotel room was a stone's throw away...

Dear Mr. Ramsey, We thank you very much for choosing to stay with us. From your description I understand that you chose to stay in the Town Apartments, and not in the Townhouse Tel Aviv hotel, which are two different services we offer to our guests. After checking the issue, we can see that you chose to order the Economy...

We booked spontaneously a standard room for the weekend, got the room at the 5 floor. The location is perfect for my opinion. The room has a private door to the roof, very quiet. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel itself is of a high standard, especially when compared to the general standard of hotels in the city. It has a great boutique feel and the staff were very friendly. What makes the hotel stand out were the little extras. There was a "happy hour" between 5 and 7 the day we arrived with complimentary wine and finger...

I book the penthouse and was than changed to a flat in an other building down the street - 3 floors walk up, on top of the garbage. The flat was run down , most electric plugs were broken. The smell was terrible .

Standard rooms are small even for one person! Noise everywhere. In the evening at 5 in the morning.... just bad! No noise isolation... strange employes... breakfast and happy hour are poor but welcome.

NBogus, Public Relations Manager at Townhouse Tel Aviv, responded to this review

Dear SLODANCER, Thank you for your feedback. We offer 5 different room categories in our hotel, in which the standard rooms are the 2nd smallest. We recommend you to order a larger room by choosing the Superior/Deluxe categories. As the hotel is locates in the heart of Tel Aviv, a non stop city, the noisy life is always present. We've...
