Hotel rooms are nice, comfortable and big. Reception staff however have less personality than bricks. I think a master class in public relations would go far. Definitely lacking in etiquette and warmth.
I stayed there 7 days and my son stayed in another room for 5 days. On the plus side, the breakfast is wonderful, as is the view from the roof. The breakfast staff are amazing. A minor negative is the hotel is showing its age, for example, the area rugs in the rooms are very dirty. The issue is management has a "it's not a problem" attitude, meaning it's not a problem for them, regardless of the impact on me. A man walked into my room late one evening without knocking or identifying himself, saw me and walked out. Management said "it's not a problem" because it was just maintenance walking into the wrong room. There was a leak from the walls onto the bathroom floor and although the leak was extensive, management said "it was not a problem" because they could send up towels so I could mop up the water. The next day, my last day there, the source of the problem became apparent as water poured through the ceiling into the bathroom. Management said it "was not a problem" because I could move to another room. The move was a serious inconvenience and source of stress; the move badly disrupted my plans and preparations for leaving, and I left behind some items in my haste to move to another room. Despite this, management would not adjust my bill or apologize in any way for the inconvenience. I spent almost $5,000 there and was treated as an inconvenience and bother when there was a malfunction or error on their part. There are many beautiful hotels along the beach in Tel Aviv. Stay in one of those where management may have more respect and appreciation for their guests.…
great location by the beach , beautiful suites, clean and spacious. breakfast is wonderful on the roof with view to the sea and relaxing music. The service is very helpful and kind. the staff are very kind feels like family. There are lots of activities around.
The rooms are perfect for a family holiday stay. Most comfortable bed! So convenient to be right across the road from the beach so easy to walk and don’t have to battle for parking. Also a two minute walk from the Namal- huge shopping and restaurant area open till late at night. Breakfast is very good with so much to choose from. I will definitely come back and stay at the Alexander.
Stayed here for a few days and the location is absolutely amazing. They also give you free breakfast and it is really good. Staff is super friendly and accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Tel Aviv and enjoy the city
Perfect location. Great boutique hotel right at Blue flag beach. The breakfast on the 7th floor shows a beautiful view into the city of Tel Aviv. Try their Shakshuka. Walk out of the hotel and you're literally a minute north to the pier and wharf. Enjoy
We have stayed here many times, as it is close to our daughter's apartment in the Old North section of Tel Aviv. We always take an Executive Suite room, so there is plenty of space, with a kitchen area. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed, and the bathrooms / shower are also good. There is a breakfast buffet option available, which is served on the 7th floor patio overlooking the ocean and the city. The buffet is not as extensive as it was prior to COVID, but it seems that many things have chnged since then. It is still a nice spread, with a choice of cooked meal included. The service is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right beside the Port in the north end of the city, which is a noce place to stroll, and has many restaurants, IT is also 3 minutes from the beach, and they have towels available at the front door. This hotel is somewhat more expensive than the other hotels in the area, but we come back becuase the service has always been very good and the place is clean and comfortable.…
Perfect stay. All was great, room, service and staff. I would definitely come again. Location is perfect for vacation with kids, romantic vacation and business trip. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tel Aviv area. Thanks for a great service
Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable, well appointed rooms. The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. TIP - Try the smoked salmon and the hummus. The location is so convenient, just a short walk (without a busy street to cross) to one of TLV’s best beaches and the Tel Aviv Port. We hope to return soon.
The Alexander never ceases to impress. Friendly front desk staff. Spacious rooms (every room is essentially a mini suite with a table, fridge, microwave, and kitchen sink), well lit 4 piece bathrooms. Beautiful ocean views. Great breakfast. Location is second to none! Cant wait for our next trip!
