Clean, friendly hotel, the area is by the beach, not many choices for fine dining, the hotel breakfast was GREAT! You can walk to the mall and many small restaurant's, but coming from TLV airport a cab is needed.($60 us) The rooms are nice with great English TV shows, bathroom & bedroom on par with a Hilton.

The Metropolitan was my first stop after leaving the airport in Tel Aviv. The hotel was set In a modern style appearance located downtown near the Mediterranean Sea with comfortable rooms and an unbelievable Mediterranean cuisine buffet the next day.

The Metropolitan is a good place if you need quick clean access and views (from the higher floors) of the Mediterranean Sea. Our room (809) was small but clean. However, The size is typical for this region of the world. Buffet was crowded but we are on a tour so that is to be expected.

Metropolitan Hotel is located close to the US Embassy and the seafront. It is a good hotel with comfortable rooms. The dining room is at the lobby level and the food quality is good. Free wifi, tea-coffee is provided.

This was our first night from the States and had a 16-hour day (we had a layover in Amman, Jordan) we were happy to be here but hungry and tired. The hotel had a really nice location. We walked about three blocks to get some dinner even though it was after 10 p.m. The hotel recommended an outdoor walk-up restaurant...

The rooms are small and ugly with stamp sized windows. Smelly rugs and black hair in the sink. Staff is unfriendly to the point of being offensive. Vast selection at breakfast does not compensate for the poor quality of the products.

Stayed here only one night with a tour group of 25. Staff was very helpful. Greeted us with fresh lemonade. Rooms are not huge but very clean. Windows open up so you can get a fresh breeze from the sea or a great view of downtown Tel Aviv. Older hotel but updated in many ways. Our views were great! First...

This hotel was booked as part of a Gate1 tour. It is only one block from the Mediterranean Sea. There are ocean views from the rooms. There is a restaurant and small bar area, it is walking distance to great restaurants.
