Bedroom was small but well appointed. Enjoyed the little balcony overlooking Dizengoff Square. Room rate includes excellent buffet breakfasts in a lovely dining room and happy hour drinks and snacks each evening on the rooftop terrace.

This building started out as the 1st movie theater in Tel Aviv. The hotels decor is film history and technology: carbon-arc projectors, lamps stands made from tripods, bed lamp made in the shape of a fresnel lantern... Enjoyed seeing the photographs of big screen stars and trying to remember their names. The mostly blank and white potos match the hotel... More

As soon as we arrived on Thursday we were invited to the happy hour on the roof terrace with drinks, food and jazz - and it was free! Interesting architecture and vintage cinema artefacts. In a good location. Only criticism was that the bathroom was small.

We only stayed in this hotel ror one night during a tour of Israel but we would have been happy to have stayed longer. Our bed was comfortable and the pillows super comfortable. We had a large tv and free wi fi. The bathroom was clean and had both a bath and shower and hair dryer. Also complimentary soap, shower... More

After a 10 hour flight and a 30 minute shuttle ride from Ben Gurion Airport, we arrived before noon to the lovely Hotel Cinema. Imagine our delight to find that our rooms were ready. A former cinema that still has much movie memorabilia on display including posters, ephemera and old projection equipment. The Cinema Hotel has enormous character and is a great place to stay for a relaxing break in the centre of Tel Aviv close to a main shopping district and the Bauhaus Center (there are over 4,000 Bauhaus style buildings in Tel... They immediately invited me to a lovely happy hour on he rooftop patio, with music, wine and snacks. It was wonderful. The room was fine--clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. And th location--right in Dizengoff Center can't be beat.

My husband and I spent five nights here during our recent visit to Tel Aviv. We loved the ambiance of this completely modernized and boldly renovated former movie theater. The breakfast room is light and bright and the food is abundant and delicious. Wine and plentiful snacks are served on the rooftop deck in the afternoon. The absolute best thing... More

Place is just wonderful, historical. Rooms are clean, breakfast is rich and abundant. Every evening an open bar is offered on the terrace. Bikes are available. Hotels employees are very keen to help you for anything.
