My husband had a business trip and we stayed here for six nights. The staff is amazing and were always friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed besides a refrigerator. There is one but it is a mini bar/snack area for sales. To get ice you must go all the way to the lobby bar with your ice bucket. The pool area is okay. Pool is nice, chairs are available, lifeguard is on duty. It is shaded for the most part and closes at 6:00 pm every day. So if you are working you cannot go there to relax afterwards. Also the towel area did not have any towels one morning for us to use and no attendant in sight. Gym area is decent. I was surprised there was not any supplies to clean equipment after each use. The breakfast buffet (included with room) had a wide variety of options. The food was good. They freshly made juices each morning had had a coffee barista making coffees. There was air raid sirens one evening and the staff gathered the guests and directed them to the shelter. It was a little confusing at first, but the manager was directing the employees on what needed to be done. We enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel and staff were lovely. We’d like to give particular praise to Maria on reception who was always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. We were upgraded to the executive floor (16). The room was big and very comfortable. The bathroom and facilities equally good. The balcony - which is the same throughout the hotel was tiny and scary. We were disappointed with the pool area. The beds are packed together like sardines so you are literally on top of people. There was a water fountain in the corner but no cups. If you wanted a drink you had to go to the main hotel lobby bar. The pool has a retractable roof which they only opened half way meaning the pool was shaded for a lot of the day. Overall, a nice hotel with lovely staff but use the beach rather than the pool.

The location is beyond compare, right on the beach in beautiful Tel Aviv. Aside from the location, the pool was great as it provided shade for those who want it. But, for me, the staff and how they interact with their guests is a top priority. The staff was so helpful on so many levels. Whether I need documents printed or advise on where to go, the front desk staff was great. I want to call out Batsheva, wow…it is rare to find someone so wonderful to deal with. Her English was perfect which was helpful. Our check in was simple, and the whatever I asked for she was able to accommodate me. She found us two rooms next to one another and the newly renovated rooms are gorgeous. Even though the hotel was fully occupied, I felt like I was the only important guest. Also, Moshe, the chef at the buffet was fantastic. I have some very specific dietary needs and after morning one, he was fully prepared with a smile and some fresh hard boiled eggs and fruit from the back. He was engaging and very helpful as I had so many questions about ingredients and such. Thanks to all the staff, but especially these two!!! Hope to be back soon!

We stayed with the whole family for a week or so. The experience was very good, we are very satisfied with the location (near the beach with a few places to eat nearby). The breakfast food was great, there’re lots of options. Another things to considerate: - The WiFi doesn’t work all the time - The front desk attention is mediocre due to the fact that their system doesn’t work half the time. - The room cleaning service is awful. We lacked towels several times, and they didn’t always make our beds - The VIP Lounge is ok (we made friends with Mora and Luana, such a pair of sisters!) - If you have a car, consider parking it outside the hotel, in another parking lot - The access to the beach is sooooooo good and direct Although there’re a few things to improve, we would definitely come back if we ever return to TLV. Thanks a lot for the good memories!

Location is terrific - right in front of Gordon Beach. There is a back entrance that is right on the promenade; the revolving doors were sometimes glitchy, but there were almost always door experts yelling their solutions. Regardless, it was handy to step out directly by the beach. The rooms are aesthetically designed, but not with the traveler in mind. The 3 drawers in the dresser are not very deep, but the bedside tables are deeper and wider. There are also cubbies and a narrow space for hanging items. If staying for a few days, without much clothing, or generally don’t unpack, this won’t be an issue. We were there for 2 weeks and it worked but it would have been nice to have regular dresser drawers. The area rug in the room (and those in the lobby) was not attached to the floor so we had a few trips on the rugs. Again, not an issue/no injuries but I would not have expected this in an IHG hotel. The bathroom lighting is all overhead, so not very good for applying makeup; there is no magnifying mirror. With respect to the service, most of the time it seemed fine and you never know about the service until there’s an issue. For the first part of our trip, there was an issue: no wi-fi. Each time we spoke to reception, we were told something else (as if it was the first they had heard of this) and so there was a nice show of taking down our room numbers to look into it, making sure we were trying to access the correct wi-fi, etc. Well, hotel visitors talk (particularly while waiting on line to speak to the receptionist), and we also overhear others’ complaints while waiting on that line. There hadn’t been wi-fi for at least a week before we arrived. So, every day we had to ask and mention that we still don’t have wi-fi. It would have been nice if the staff acknowledged this and we could expect to be notified, but there was no such notification. There were certain reception staff that could see you waiting (Bath Sheeba- spelling?) and completely ignore you. Even when her coworker informed her of this multiple times (and the coworker could see that Bath Sheba was not busy otherwise), she couldn’t be bothered until she finally realized she had to do some work. Honestly, I was just waiting to request a city map, and follow up on the wi-fi again; she provided a map, wrote down our room number, and suggested using the lobby wi-fi. Still no room wi-fi after that. Two days later, I followed up again and spoke to Sheet/Sheer (spelling?) and she was surprised we didn’t have it since our floor should have had it by then but she was able to get that corrected. I’m not sure whether this is something Bath Sheba should have corrected but I have no reason to expect she took any action. Throughout, the hotel’s solution was that we should go to the lobby and access wi-fi. At some point, they began providing club access since there was wi-if there but as they did, they began cutting back on the items typically available in the club. Honestly, all we wanted was wi-fi in our room to stream, surf, etc in our room at the end of the day. However, if offering the club as a consolation (since it’s still an inconvenience), then keep the club stocked with the items typically there. When there was food, there were a few flies in the club so maybe that was the issue with replenishing. None of this was particularly hospitable or nice but this is the management’s fault. By some miracle, the wi-if situation was fixed by the time the Maccabiah teams arrived in the hotel - lucky coincidence for them…. The valet/concierge often had to be in 2 places at once and was helpful. Sheet/Sheer also had to do double/triple duty on Shabbat but was helpful and pleasant throughout. The beach towel situation was similar with respect to service; multiple employees sending us in multiple directions, none of them yielding beach towels but did result in resetting our room key and my sopping wet husband going through the lobby to get a new key. The breakfast was fine. It wasn’t the best or worst Israeli breakfast buffet. There is an omelette station. Some, not all, items are marked. There are fresh juices and a coffee station. After the first few days, you figure out what you like. The pastries were very average. There too, staff would just walk out and cut in front of you but it is a young staff that seemed overwhelmed at times. The elevators are automated in a way. You enter your floor number into the kiosk and are assigned one of four elevator cars. Since the kiosk does not know how many people will be entering the elevator car, it just keeps assigning the same car. I understand we’re generally post-COVID (or would like to be), but oftentimes the car was more packed than we would have liked (pre- or post-COVID.) Since the elevator was sometimes slow to arrive, no one wanted to wait for the next one. Service at the for-pay lobby bar was very good. The cocktails were prepared inconsistently, but still good. The food was also good. The view of the sunset was awesome. On checkout, I requested a copy of the bill and was provided a copy, but then was told that it might not be correct. They were having system issues and assured me they would email me the final bill - 2 days later, I’m home but there’s been no email. We’re not that hard to please: we reserved rooms in a hotel with wi-fi, but instead were given the runaround and dishonest answers. Maybe staff is overworked, overwhelmed, understaffed, untrained, or this is the business model for this location. I’ve stayed in other IHG hotels in the world and this experience does not make a good impression on the brand.

We had a great stay here. First and foremost the location is perfect! You just go down two floors, and you’re on the promenade and the beautiful beach! Our room was new and very nice and cleanly designed. The beds were very comfortable - serious plus! :) The food was very good with a large variety, and the staff was professional and kind. We had a great time!

The location on Gordon Beach is convenient, the breakfast was excellent, and the front desk personnel were pleasant, but that’s about the best I can say. For several days prior to arrival, I tried to reach the hotel directly via email and phone to inform them that we would be arriving a day later due to cancellation of our original flight. No one responded to multiple emails, nor did anyone call me back. We could not change the arrival date on line without incurring additional charges of about $600 USD for the seven night stay. As a result, to make sure we weren’t considered a no-show, we had to cancel our original reservation and book a completely new one in a lower category because that is all that was available. Upon arrival we were given an IHG Platinum Ambassador Elite “upgrade” to a room with a view of another high rise hotel in disrepair and a sliver of beach. The room (and the entire hotel) is in shabby condition and appears not to have been renovated since the 1980s. The shower had mold and mildew in it. The closet door would not stay closed. The mini-bar was empty. The hotel lobby bar was completely out of vodka the first night. Two days before departure, we went to the front desk to arrange car service to the airport and were directed to the concierge to reserve a taxi because the hotel does not offer private car service. The concierge, who was hardly ever at the desk, assured us he would book the taxi in advance within the next five minutes for our early morning departure two days later. We tipped him generously, and he graciously accepted. The next day we decided to re-confirm and were told by another concierge that there was no record of arrangements for a taxi for us. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. And COVID is not an acceptable excuse - Tel Aviv is vibrant and bustling with activity. We are not that difficult to please, but it is hard to recommend this hotel. Sadly, it was a poor value for the money at about $3,000 for a seven night stay and is not worthy of the IGH brand, given its present condition and level of service.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was the last two days of our visit to Israel and a great place to end our vacation. We had friendly service when we checked in. As a Platinum member we were upgraded to a beautiful and renovated accommodation with a lovely view facing the Mediterranean. This facility has a pool (that area under renovation however still able to use). The breakfast buffet cannot be beat, looked forward to it during our stay.Of course you are on the beach, so wonderful location. On our last day we needed a later checkout and they accommodated us. Compliments to Ido J and his team for wonderful service. We will be back here when we return to Israel.

What a disappointment of a IHG property. From check in to check out this hotel disappointed. Upon arrival I was greeted by an old worn out lobby that was warm and moist, checked in for my reserved "deluxe king room with sea view " and was sent to a room on the 5th floor which can only be described as disgusting, with a partial view of the street, a partial view of the boardwalk, a sliver of ocean and a great view of the dome of the swimming pool. My "king" bed was two twins pushed together. I tried to call downstairs to reception but the phone did not work, so I went down to talk to the manager on duty and explained what I had reserved and paid for, he said there was nothing he could do since the hotel was sold out, when I told him that I expected a refund for the room I paid for he said he could not help. Since it was 1 am I was forced to stay there. The next morning I went to make a coffee in room and when putting water in the coffee machine I noticed it was all moldy and green so I passed on that, the minbar was underneath and leaking water (perhaps from melting ice). Around 5pm I went to the pool which is on level -1 and went through a maze to get to the pool which was dark, had loose screws, nails and wire in the pathway due to construction, finally got to the pool which had no towels, no water for the guests, only a locked cooler with no attendant, I was able to enjoy the pool area for 45 minutes until the lifeguard makes you leave at 6 which is a shame since it's light and warm until 8pm in the summer months. I could say the breakfast was good, but the guests run around like they never had a meal before and the staff is useless, I am still waiting for my milk to put in my coffee. Overall a mediocre 2 star hotel that clearly does not take pride in the property and certainly does not try to cater to its guests. The funny thing is I was expecting a differant experience since from the time of booking I was getting whatsapp messages to ensure that my stay would be a memorable one. Shame on you IHG and crown plaza tel aviv beach.

The location is fantastic. You're right on the beach with a great view of the Mediterranean Sea. You can walk down the promenade and pass several beaches on your way there even head north to the old port if you're okay with walking for a while. During my stay, the hotel was a highlight of the trip. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and pleasant. The hotel is popular as there were lines to check in and check out. Now for some of the slight cons: the hotel is a bit older and could use a makeover, however, that could be said for most of the hotels in that area as well as certain parts of the promenade. The dinner buffet was okay, neither good nor great. The hotel gave you only water and if you wanted a beverage you had to pay for it. The breakfast buffet was a bit better but packed. So you had to wait a while to get your coffee. However, the views of the beach from the dining area offset that issue.
