This hotel gives you a tiny Tel Aviv experience in an unexpected location. The place is part of a new mini neighberhood close to one of the main malls and train stations in Tel Aviv that is not far from the center but located on the highway so easy to get out of city too.
It's part of a complex of shops that give you a taste of Tel Aviv food establishments with a live music venue and rock climbing place. It's another 20 to 30 mins walk from more central locations.
The shift manager was awesome, she showed us rooms and was very patient and kind. The rooms are dark styled and industrial with electronic light controls everywhere, definitely for couples and party goers as such. Very clean and everything smelled amazing in the hotel. It was very clean and had everything including a treadmill in the Loft room we took.
Outside there are food places and a nice square to sit in and chillax.
We loved the experience, it was a welcomed surprise after we originally booked another crappy place in Tel Aviv that did not justify the price.
Highly recommend Play for business people and couple and youngsters for a place Tel Aviv style 👌

Location was in Midtown area we love to walk so we had a lot of thing around the hotel. Cafes, supermarket, mall. We stay 2 nights and the room was super spacious and comfortable. If you planning to work, the hotel had a business center . Also at the room you will find a desk and chair we a nice space to work . The hotel is locate in a business complex so you do a check in, at the one of the restaurants . Taxi to the beach is around 65 shekels. We didn’t select breakfast but around is a cafe Arcaffe the breakfast was delicious we bought one full beaks and additional a cappuccino and eggs and cost us 25 US for 2 and we were full.

Such a lovely experience at Play Midtown. The hotel is located in a 4-5 building complex of office towers, condos, restaurants & Play Hotel units surrounded by a beautiful courtyard. Staff was very friendly & accommodating (especially Maria & Bilal). Restaurants in the complex had a huge variety of food options. And the complex is located less than 5 minutes from Azrieli Centre & HaShalom Train Station. Really enjoyed sitting in the courtyard/park area and watching/listening to random people playing the piano. If you are going to be in Tel Aviv it’s definitely worth checking out the hotel & surrounding complex.

I sincerely do not recommend this hotel! the rooms are located absolutely inconveniently in four different buildings, it is very difficult to find the right room. the corridors and the room are very dark, the windows do not open! also in the room we saw huge cockroaches! the maids clean very badly. cleaning is done by Filipinos who do not understand a word in Russian or English, forget about Hebrew at all. better choose another hotel!

We only stayed for one night but honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Hotel staff was very accommodating and kind. The room was stylishly furnished, set right in the middle of the bustling Midtown center, the food and drinks at the hotel lobby restaurant were delicious, and the service was excellent. They even served fresh pastries from the Midtown Patisserie with the hotel breakfast. We had a gallery room and definitely felt like we got our money's worth.

Beware of this hotel that charges you bills without your consent. Deplorable service: superb Nespresso machine but which did not work despite having reported it several times, dark room, defective neon lights, card system out for 3 hours so impossible to come and go between your room and the outside . Despite promises and emails indicating a refund, I'm still waiting and won't get it. And beware, they charge you VAT even if you are not Israeli. Nondescript hotel, which wants to play upscale and dishonest managers (Teddy and Tzil).

Hotel is new and clean. Finding the reception may be challenging as there is no signage, and the hotel is split between 4 otherwise used as office building. Service and food quality at breakfast was excellent. Room has insufficient lighting. But is clean, and when I called to ask for a table and chair, they were brought to accommodate me. Unless you specifically as for the room to be cleaned, it won't be, even if do not disturb is not on. Part of the room decor is a large punching bag, which seemed nice until I had a person in adjacent room practicing kicking at all hours, 11:30PM, 0:30am, 4:00 am made so much noise, as the bags hang right next to metal entertainment system cabinet and hang on metal chain. Fitness room is minimally equipped.

Kind, accommodating, flexible people. The walls are a little thin, but after staying at other properties accross the country, this one was the best by far, at all levels. Honestly I have seen negative reviews and there's no way this was the same property. I extended a second night here although I planned to continue travelling south.
