Vacation for 4 couples in the city of Tel Aviv. We came to this hotel because of the pool but the hotel did not inform us that there is a private party in the pool and we, the hotel guests, cannot enjoy from this service. The hotel was full of teenagers and the stay was unbearable, we just had to leave the hotel all the time. The rooms are not clean and the breakfast is reasonable. When we raised the claims to the hotel staff, we did not receive a response until today. The hotel is not recommended for people over 30 years old
We had a great time here but there are some things you should know before deciding if it's for you. It's in a converted office building, with a pretty grubby entrance on a fairly grubby little road off Rothschild Boulevard. The reception and restaurant have no natural daylight and if you're on floor L4 check if there is a party that night in the conference room because the rooms all run around the outside of that space. You should also know that the aesthetic is bohemian meets industrial. Yes, beautiful decor in the rooms but exposed (and very clean) 1980s concrete rafters. If you're OK with that, this is a great hotel. The rooms are beautiful if small and very comfortable. Great beds, toiletries, Nespresso machines etc. Even by Israeli standards, breakfast is huge and delicious and staff are very helpful. The rooftop pool is small but cool and the vibe is great. It became a club at night. Generally, like all Brown hotels, the staff are fantastic and the attention to detail is world-class. We had a great time but be prepared before you decide to stay here. There are less-edgy hotels by the same chain! Ps. Free parking in the basement was a massive help.…
we stayed for two nights in the hotel. The hotel is well decorated. pool on the the top 14 floor. Not big But good foor cooling in the hot summer of August.Very good breakfast. free parking in the middle of Tel Avive !!! The staff were very nice and helpet us with everything. Rooms at the high floor has nice view . 4 lifts but not fasts ones .In the nigt the pool area is changed to a dance bar not bellong to the hotel. you have to invite place in advance. Also A chef restaurant on the 14 floor also recomended. The hotel is in the heart of Tel avive close to everything. I would defintly will come again. Limor and Igal Aviram
The room next door smoked weed with the door open for 2 hours and laughed and joked very loudly all night long (I made this complaint but it was never acknowledged). The pool staff were rude and unaccommodating. But the most infuriating thing was our experience with the deposit. We are owed £120 for the 3 nights we stayed and were told it would be back on the card we paid with within a few days. At the time of writing it has been 2 months since our stay, I have sent 20+ messages to try to resolve, half have gone unanswered, the rest have been passed between different departments. I have given them 4 options of bank details (including one over the phone). There should be no excuse for any hotel company stealing your deposit, let alone one of the size of Bobo and Brown Hotels. Avoid if you don’t want to risk repeating this huge headache!!…
I’ve got mixed feelings about this place but not sure exactly why. Value for money? So: We had interconnecting rooms which worked well for our 2+2 family. They were smaller than we’d expected with even smaller bathrooms but nonetheless tastefully furnished and good storage space. Coffee machine and welcoming bottle of wine from Golan Heights. We swapped our strawberry popcorn for the girls’ wine😉 Oh, and the beds were huge and super comfy. Essential air con. Our view was over Benedict’s towards the sea. (We ignored the apartment block opposite!) Fabulous. Great location for town centre but a fair way to the beach. Lots of restaurants, takeaways and patisseries around (we had breakfast from Benedict’s - beware the long queues) - and pizza from Etna. However beware the pool on top floor and be ready with your towels… By 10.01am, it was almost impossible to find a seat or bed round the “Place To Be Seen” pool. The pool was also chaotic with the young women wanting to be the latest instagram influencers, posing all day. (They were also the ones who’d saved thc e tables and seats 🙄 ) It is a small pool, so no proper swimming amongst the throngs and, although children are allowed in the pool, the posers did not welcome the splashing! Gym was small, comprising two running machines and two other machines that weren’t working. One push up bench with lots of weights. Didn’t use spa treatments. Optional breakfast was expensive but you can overload your plate time and again with all types of food. Choose carefully and you won’t want to eat again until supper. 😋The staff serving hot drinks were delightful and helpful.…
I had a group of business staying there , who complained about the service and the building which feels like a back entrance . Too crowded Communication with reservation was terrible, too many agents not taking responsibility. Not recommended
Just finished a 3 night stay at The Bobo Hotel, as part of a 16 night trip to Israel. Brilliant staff, great value, super comfortable beds as well. Forget the roof top pool on a Saturday as totally rammed. Would definitely stay again
best location, in the very heart of Tel-Aviv. . charming ambience. Great cooperating staff. all the restaurants and bars are very close by. espresso machine in each room, which is a must in the morning. its a hotel to come back to
I’ve been in so many hotels that I don’t even know how to describe my frustration here. I have so many thoughts to share but will try to mention the most important ones: Small hotel, crowded. There’s one main entrance that leads to the lobby and requires to use an elevator to get there. One you get to the lobby, after a queue to the first elevator, you have another great experience and awaiting for the next elevator that will takes you to your room or to the rooftop /swimming pool and bar. When we finally managed to arrive to the rooftop and there was a queue to to inside the area and queue to the elevators! We were shocked about the amount of guests in the area, and in the small pool. People were smoking inside the pool, drinking inside the pool and there was not even a single spot to sit around or to even get a drink in the meanwhile because there’s was not barman! We decided to give up and went out for a walk around the city. Late this evening (getting ready for dinner) we went to the first elevator, and was full again. Arriving in the lobby, we waited for the second elevator i to get out of the hotel, again elevator full and really busy. Coming back from dinner, a queue to wait for the first elevator witch was fully crowded of people . Going to the second elevator to go up to the rooms, again busy and hard to find one of the elevators that stop with a free spot that you can manage and survive this adventure to finally get up to your room. We decided to go up to the bar Melo Melo since we’re guests of the hotel and see what’s about. They were really selective and didn’t allow us to let in because w e needed stamps in the hand, which means that was going back, waiting on the queue for the first elevator, waiting in the queue for the second elevator, got the stamps, coming back and waiting in the queue for the first and than the second elevator, to wait in the queue for the bar to finally get in. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel! Is a trap! The fact that the hotel is not taking care of their guests as a priority (unique elevators, no stamp needs, no queues) is unacceptable and unprofessional. Doesn’t worth any money and your time.…
I had vacation in this hotel, which is the chain of Brown hotels. I booked at the beginning their another hotel - Dave Levinski, but it was some problem there and they changed me staying with free upgrade of the room and with no over paying, in spite of this hotel is much more expensive. Now about hotel: I liked literally everything: cleanliness, level of service, manager Dana was very mindful and guys from reception are too. The room itself has good mini bar, very clean bathroom with a lot of towels, and great bed with very comfortable and clean sheets and pillows. But the most gorgeous was the view from the window on Tel Aviv. It was unforgettable. Breakfast also is very good, but be ready, that there is no meat on it. For me it was perfect, for you may be not. And one more time: all stuff in hotel is very professional and nice people! Thanks guys, I wish you all the best…
