I stayed at this hotel with some friends as we were attending a wedding. I can honestly say it was a most pleasurable stay. The ambiance of the hotel is like staying with your own family. Nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful breakfast and the happy hour between 5 and 7 is super. I will definitely be coming back.

Had such an incredible experience in July when we stayed here for a week. Our time with there was just glorious! The hotel itself, the relaxing, peaceful vibe and high standard of hospitality was such a delight. Breakfast and happy hour were fantastic! Such delicious food - excellent quality and superb hospitality! The care and attention that was paid by everyone at the hotel was so so wonderful! And the staff were just phenomenal- whether it was the wonderful reception staff, the fab staff in the dining area or house keeping - everyone was an absolute joy! In particular, Amanda in reception was so so helpful and super accommodating, going above and beyond to deal with any requests we had. Ileana was so friendly and funny, Esther and Lola in the restaurant were so helpful Another French speaking lady in reception was also great but I didn’t catch her name - honestly we couldn't have been better treated! On my birthday I was presented with a beautiful birthday cake & sparkler at birthday and sung happy birthday. The daily beach bags were great as well as the beautiful hotel signature scent we got to take away with us - such beautiful touches that enhanced our experiences even more! The roof top terrace was a great touch during Sabbath when the beaches are too busy. Especially to watch the sunset! The only thing I would recommend is when booking go for a larger room as our room was a bit small. A super fantastic experience - we will definitely be returning. Can’t recommend highly enough!

It was my first visit to Israel with a group of very close friends and we all stayed in the Hotel Shalom & Relax which was highly recommended by a regular visitor to the We all booked a Double Superior room which was spaces and had a Nespresso Coffee machine, fridge and coffee and teas. The room also came with complimentary towels for you to take to the beach. This is gem of a Hotel located within easy commute to Jafa, Central Tel Aviv railway station and may other key places. The beach and restaurants are within easy walking distance from the Hotel. The Hotel is clean, but its the staff that will make your stay memorable because they are all wonderful people looking after you through out your stay. The morning begins with a wonderful buffet breakfast with array of breads, cheeses, fruits local speciality items and eggs cooked to your liking and don't forget to try the shakshuka. One of our many highlights of our stay at the Shalom & Relax was the "Happy Hour" late in the afternoon. The Hotel provides array of complimentary snacks tea, coffee, alcoholic and soft drinks. This is perfect way to wind down a little after you have been out site seeing or spending time on beach etc. There are many 5* rated hotels situated close by but in my opinion Shalom & Relax delivers the 5* personalised service without compromise. Highly recommend this place to stay in Tel Aviv.

We had to postpone our original booking 22-23 hours before check-in. Though the hotel could have charged us full price because we were within the 24-hour window, they let us cancel for free. We decided to postpone instead. Upon check-in we were informed that our room was upgraded, free of charge. The room was nicely renovated and spacious, and very clean. They left us some nice goodies as well. Happy hour in the afternoon was a nice touch, with some snacks and drinks. We also took advantage of the beach, which is a couple minutes walk. The hotel provided us with towels in a canvas bag, along with bottled water. They think of everything! The staff was always very nice and helpful, and we had a great experience!

We are returning guests as we love this hotel so much. We brought a group with us to celebrate a friend’s sons wedding. We were treated wonderfully by the staff. The hotel is in a great position with a great roof top for sunbathing or just relaxing. The rooms are nice and well appointed. The breakfasts are absolutely amazing with more than enough for all taste, including vegetarians . There is a happy hour six days a week which has a selection of alcoholic drinks and nibbles. The hotel is great value too. One of the main reasons we continue to return is the fantastic staff. They are an absolute credit to the Atlas Group. Most of the staff have been there many years and you always get the feeling you are returning home. All the staff Eti and Ronli , Celeste ,Amanda and recent addition Sonia , Ramona, Simona, Esther and Ileana and new recruit Dan looked after us incredibly well. A mention should also go to kitchen staff and housekeeping too. I highly recommend the Shalom and Relax to anyone who loves excellent service and wants a wonderful time in Israel

This is a delightful boutique hotel. The staff cannot do enough for you and are just a delight to deal with Breakfasts are just superb, and happy hour in the early evening is a really great touch. The rooms (we stayed in a superior room) are very comfortable and the cleaning staff are both friendly and attentive The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax and top up your tan. The only thing missing is a pool, but with the beach straight opposite, and the Gordon Pool maybe 200m away, that’s not a problem All in all a truly delightful, special hotel that has been a delight to stay in

I have stayed at a number of hotels that are part of the Atlas hotel chain and they have always been great. These hotels are smaller than big chain (Marriott etc) and have more of a boutique feel, but they are always clean. I expected to have a similar experience at the Shalom hotel but I was very disappointed. When I arrived, I saw a cockroach in the lobby. It truly was disgusting but I assumed it was an isolated experience. When I got to the room, I saw that it was dirty and had not been maintained - dust everywhere, paint chipping horribly and actual dirt on the walls, curtain and bed. Truly disappointed that they have not kept the hotel up. Would not stay there again.

Hi Sarah_L830; Ronli - our hotel manager has been calling you for some time now. Each time you tell her that you will return her call and unfortunately she doesn't hear back from you. The majority of feedback that we receive is consistently positive and because of this, we are very surprised and sorry that your experience was the opposite. We take comments such as your very seriously and for this reason our hotel manager would like to talk to you. She will call you again soon and hopefully you will be able to discuss your comments with her. Best Regards, Estelle Hock - Guest Relations Manager, Atlas Hotels

This great boutique hotel ticks all the boxes; amazing location, exceptional breakfast, attentive customer service, with a fantastic rooftop to boot! It is located right across from the Hilton Beach and close to Dizengoff street. There is an array of good restaurants close by with delicious food and coffee. I wanted to stay close to the beach to swim, run and walk and was not disappointed. I crossed Independence Park and was smack down at the best Tel Aviv beaches! I chose the superior room and it was very nice. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets were of great quality along with the towels. The breakfast is generous and delicious. Avi and Amanda were lovely and treated me with amazing kindness and attention! Thanks to you both and to the whole staff for a lovely time in Tel Aviv! I will be back!
