The Diaghilev is located about 3 minutes walk from Rothschild Boulevard (Very nice tree lined avenue in central Tel Aviv, which many consider the heart of the city). The street the hotel is on is quiet but within 8 minutes walk you can be at top restaurants and bars. We stayed at this hotel 3 different times in 10 days....

Great place to stay. They offered me a free upgrade, and I was amazed by how large the suite was--larger than many apartments I've seen! A balcony was included, and I enjoyed watching the sun set each night. It was extremely quiet and the unique artwork throughout created a relaxed, funky atmosphere. Bed was super comfy, and the modern bathroom...

This is a great boutique hotel in a very central location in Tel-Aviv, near restaurants and the lovely Rothschild promenade. The staff is attentive, helpful, friendly and spot on. The rooms are very big, clean, contemporary style, and great balcony. The shower is strong and wonderfully hot water. The toiletries are unique in that they are made by handicapped and...

First of all - very good and helpful staff. Hotel is well located with convenient underground car park. Big suites are very comfortable and we can find in the hotel more than 400 piece of art. This is unusual , that in each room it's possible to find some arts and you have possibility to buy it. You feel very...

I stayed for one night at the Diaghilev and thought it was excellent. My room was actually an apartment, with separate a bedroom and bathroom as well as a kitchen/living space - loads of room and ideal if there are two of you. The hotel staff were great and really accommodating when I messed around with my checkout; they provided...

The hotel is overall very nice, the rooms very large (we had a bedroom and separate living room). Staff was very nice and helpful, location is great. The rooms are what I would call "very nice" but not outstanding, as some of the styling is somewhat a redo of a 70's style apartment (such as the little kitchenette counter top...

Great hotel in a perfect location. Easy to walk to most places but on a quiet street. Staff were amazing and helpful, greeting us warmly each time we came in. I would definitely return on my next trip to Tel Aviv.

we had a wonderful two night stay at the hotel. the great experience started before we even arrived with wonderful guest communications and accommodations. the room was very comfortable and clean and since we were facing the back of the hotel it was very quiet (which is quite rare in the heart of tel aviv) the location is amazing, and...

After 2 weeks or more travelling around Israel, we returned for our second visit to the Diaghilev Hotel. It was amazing how the staff and management welcomed us. They remembered usa s we walked in, and there was a note in the room welcoming us and saying we were almost family now we have come back. The room is spacious...

My family has stayed at the Diaghilev for years, its awesome, Miriam at reception is one of the friendliest and greatest people. She's a real asset to the hotel. Unfortunately the good service added there. We booked about 10 rooms for my recent wedding and got zero special treatment, I personally received no welcome drinks or 'little touches'. Despite arranging...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Diaghilev is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by an excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery exhibiting over 500 artworks that change every 6 months, unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev has recently established a HUB for Start-ups and integrates a wide activity in such fields as design, fashion and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artist visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built in the purest Bauhaus the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich of hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of a recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are produced and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept lead to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives. ... more   less
