I visited the hotel with friends and everything was great. But it was very chilly in the lobby. The room was amazing and super clean. The staff were really nice. And the breakfast was good. The location is great, there are stores and restaurants and its right next to the beach.

We stayed at the hotel on 26.08, we closed 2 nights - one to get organized before the wedding and another night after the event. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were told there was a power outage all over the floor (took them a few hours to fix it but finally the air conditioner came back on). Instead, unlike any self-respecting hotel there is no room service and no service consciousness (a review that is endlessly repeated in all the comments). For example, do you want to order something for the room? Come down and take it for yourself. We wanted glasses of wine to celebrate the occasion, and we were told that we had to go get them from the lobby. We got to the day of getting organized, we started the preparations and the electricity went off again! On the day of getting organized in the best suite the hotel has to offer, and again no electricity in the room! It is mid-August and we are without air conditioning. I was transferred to a significantly smaller room to get organized, claiming that "it will take up to 3 hours and it will work out." They smeared us all the time until my girlfriend came up to talk to the electrician who said it would work out for the evening only! I spent all the time getting ready for my wedding in a tiny room, when I closed the suite in advance! The hotel manager apologized and told my friend that he would compensate us for everything that had happened and give us the night for free, and also promised to bring 3 chillers to the suite so we could have the pictures taken there. He brought one chiller and not 3 as promised. I did all the organizing in the little room. When we left for the day, my friend asked that they clean the room, but we returned from the wedding to a messy room (of course not cleaned). When we checked out we asked to be credited for the night because we had no use for the room since we were getting organized in another room and in addition to the mental anguish I had went through while getting ready for the wedding. We were offered a funny and miserable compensation of 20% off the suite, when we told the representative there that this was not what was agreed she called the CEO who told her he was not willing to give any compensation! He also hung up on her and did not want to hear any more. I had a shocking experience there, I recommend staying away from this hotel like wildfire. We finally paid full price for the 2 nights when the whole get-together was in a small room, which is priced significantly cheaper (the prepayment was for the suite), the CEO, Dudu, refused to give us any compensation and disclaimed responsibility for what had been a nightmare. Whom ever cares about customer care, stay away from the Opera Hotel Herbert Samuel.

Worst customer service Ever ! We had booked the royal suite for 2 nights, air conditioning Wasn’t working !! Took them hours to move us to another smaller room( of which no compensation was given, yet we booked the 401 suite ! Not a regular room) The so called manager Dudo - should be sacked, fired, let go. The level of which he acted, as a manger of such a hotel, i was speechless, hanging up to the calls being made to him, not cause he was busy, but because he didn’t want to deal with unsatisfied customers( something which is in the description of your job!) Shame we didn’t look at reviews before, as it’s a big concerning issue which is on repeat. Horrible experience, would not recommend

The lobby is extensive and can be reached directly from the car park. In the hot hours, the staff provides soft drinks and refreshments. The staff was courteous and answered any questions. The room was very clean including the shower and toilet. There is a pampering coffee corner, and a bottle of water. The bed was wide and very comfortable. The room has a balcony facing the sea. Pleasant to sit in the morning and evening, but not at noon and in the afternoon. Along the walls of the hotel there are pictures from the past of Tel Aviv and you can learn a little about the history of the city. The place where the hotel is located also has an interesting history. Breakfast was full and there was nothing missing. If it's half board, dinner is available at another hotel a few minutes' walk away. Many bus lines pass near the hotel and you can easily reach the city center, the port area or Jaffa. In the evening it is very pleasant to walk along the nearby promenade where there are also many who do sports and other physical activities. There is the possibility to sit and drink or enjoy delicious ice cream near the hotel. The only problem is the parking lot that is under the hotel but does not belong to it and is relatively expensive (but this is Tel Aviv ... :-( . Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
