We arrived at the Savoy with our friends on the 29th July. The man that greeted us was very friendly. Hi f course we arrived too early so he locked our luggage in the back room. He then offered us coffee and nibbles are always there 24/7. Our experience here was always very friendly. The breakfast is plentiful. Omelette’s well made. Coffee also was very good. They also had muesli fresh fruit yoghurt and of course pastries. Very helpful. For a small hotel it was just perfect. Great location 2 seconds from the beach. Will definitely come back.
Great location, friendly attentive staff with excellent service. At the beach, and easy walks to local sights such as the Carmel market and great restaurants. Breakfast was a pleasure that easily beat other generic hotel breakfasts. Highly recommend
First time visit to Israel, staff accommodating, all needs have been met. Breakfast is excellent and the Hotel is in close proximity to the Beach, which makes the Hotel , 5 star. Well situated hotel, close to the Beach , close to many other places of interest in Tel Aviv.
The pictures on the website really inspired us and our agent to book our vacation with the Seaside Savoy. The rooms were so tiny and uncomfortable. The bathroom got soaking wet every time we tried to take a shower. It was crazy. The rooms were not clean. The staff at the front desk were super unfriendly, except for a young lady who always smiled and said hello when people entered the lobby. If you like small hotels, this is for you but if you are looking for elegance, go elsewhere!
A boutique hotel in a great location with a nice breakfast buffet that can be taken on a terrace out front. Our room was a bit small, but workable and the price was reasonable for TLV. You can easily walk to the beach and promenade for a stroll and many beach restaurants. Service was efficient-the person checking us in was helpful and empathetic when our luggage was stolen from our guide's car and we had to scramble before a flight. One warning--the picture on the website and one's used by 3rd party bookers (Hotels, Booking, Travelocity, etc.) is grossly misleading. The hotel does not have a large deck or spacious patio off the beach. However, we would certainly recommend this and come again. Good value.
Nice Hotel - great location to the beaches - friendly staff and coffee, juice and snacks available all day in entrance. Rooms are clean and good enough for a short stay Would Definitely come back here again
This hotel is nice for a mid range budget. It's a simple property a block away from the beach. We got the most expensive room (Sea View Studio) and it had a nice balcony with a glimpse of the ocean. The room itself was clean and felt spacious enough (for Israel standards). The only thing we disliked was the shower as it was really narrow and the shower curtain would be touching you the entire time. The immediate surrounding area seemed run down, but it felt safe and we liked how close it was to the beach promenade (1 block). The location was great; we walked everywhere.
I only spent one night in this boutique hotel and found it very satisfactory. I stayed in a standard double room which was very clean and adequate. Good shower, toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, tea and coffee, and complimentary bottles of water. View from the room is bad and there is absolutely no reason to stand on the small balcony which overlooks the back of ugly buildings. The TV was fine and the wifi was excellent. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was good although not the usual Israeli breakfast. There are eggs to order, but the bread (delicious) and spreads are brought to the table. The only cereal available was granola. The self-service consisted of granola, yoghurt, fruit salad, croissants, juice, and great coffee. Cake, coffee, tea, fresh and dried fruits, are available in the lobby 24/7. The lobby leads onto an outside terrace which is available for breakfast or just to sit and people watch throughout the day. I'm an early riser and the very close proximity to the promenade was perfect. I took my cup of coffee and enjoyed watching other early birds jogging, surfing, and playing volley ball at 7am on the beach. The proximity to most places is great. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Carmel Market and within easy walking distance to many bus routes.…
It is our third time here and always happy! It’s also always nice to have a complementary drink on the rooftop in the evening. The location is just great two minutes away from the beach! The staff is very helpful and Rooms up to expectation. We will lol be back for sure.
We stayed at The Savoy for one night and it met our basic needs. The location is excellent, towards the southern part of Tel Aviv and a block from the beach. It is a basic, boutique hotel. In the States, it would be a 2-star hotel. Very basic furnishings, nothing fancy. Nice size room and comfortable bed. The bathroom door was so badly warped that it didn't close all the way. For one night, it was fine. The breakfast was nice. Limited buffet, probably due to Covid, but a nice selection was brought to our table. Again, fine for one night.
