Distinctive among luxury boutique hotels in dynamic Tel Aviv, the White Villa is a peaceful hideaway in the heart of the White City that blends luxury urban sophistication with an old-world charm. Set in a 1940's Le Corbusier inspired house, this thoughtfully restored White Villa has preserved its intimacy of the private residence it once was and offers guests an authentic Tel Aviv experience with exemplary hands-on service.

Just of the north end of Rothschild avenue. It’s a converted mansion to boutique hotel. Entrance rather dark due to trees Check into room 209/ deluxe with terrace. White minimalist Interior- smallish room with standard size bathroom. Shower area small. Out space/terrace - table and chairs with2 lounge separated shared terrace by potted bamboo trees. Coffee machine in room- nespreso Breakfast- average to good. Best was on Shabbat when there was a buffer. Usually small quantities of Fruit, bread, and a cooked dish. Breakfast at Shabbat was better as it was buffet style. Sometimes breakfast took too long due to lack of adequate staffing. Gym- three equipment on four floor. Also communal terrace with lounge chairs and tables. There is a top terrace space for those with rooms with no terrace/ outdoor space. Good staff/ service. Main issue is noise- both from outside - people shouting and cars honking in the middle of the night. Interiorly, the water pipes are an issue- had the room upstairs take a shower at midnight which woke us up. Also showers at 7am. Disrupted sleep in room 209- can’t speak about other rooms in btw hotel.

This was our first visit to Tel Aviv and we booked here because it was an easy walk to my son’s apartment. It is a good central location, easy walking distance to most Tel Aviv attractions and neighborhoods. The beach is .8 miles, an easy walk, and we easily walked to Jaffa to the south and the Port to the north. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It is located in a residential neighborhood, which I found appealing. That said, it is an urban environment, so there is a fair amount of street noise as might be expected in any busy city. Our room was called a “grand deluxe” and it was nicely appointed with many original furnishings. The bed was comfortable; plenty of closet and shelf space; the shower was great. Drinks in the small fridge are complimentary. The hotel features a roof deck and a small fitness room (accommodating two or three people at most), with a treadmill, stationary bike and a multi-function weight machine. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The included daily breakfast was very good; loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. It was nice having bar service where we could get a glass of wine and a beer in the late evening. Regarding noise, I agree with the reviewer who noted that the noise attenuation was not ideal — while we did not hear anything from neighboring rooms, noise was audible from the common areas and outdoors. The quality of the housekeeping was inconsistent and could be improved. Overall, this is a charming and comfortable small hotel, away from crowded tourist areas.

Superb breakfast! Thank you so much to the brilliant Chef Talia Trup who made such a wonderful meal! We had pancakes, shakshuka and eggs, smoked salmon and avocado! Definitely recommend if you are staying in Tel Aviv!

My usual preference when staying in Tel Aviv is to be right by the beach. We rented an apartment overlooking the sea for three years but gave it up when we couldn’t get there during the Covid epidemic. I was surprised and delighted to realise that that I could be happy staying somewhere other than the beach as The White Villa was so well located in Tel Aviv. I love to walk and, apart from Jaffa and the Port, almost everywhere I wanted to get to was less than half an hour by foot. Most places were between 10-20 minutes away. My daughter lives next to Habima Square and that is why I chose this hotel. It was six minutes walk to her apartment. The building was once a family home and has been beautifully renovated retaining many original features. I booked very last minute so didn’t get to pick the room I wanted but my room was very pleasant with a bright and airy bathroom, a free fridge of drinks and all the other things you would expect from a quality hotel. The staff, especially at reception were friendly and accommodating. Even in the vegan capital of the world, not everyone in Tel Aviv knows how to feed a vegan, but chef Talia Trup ensured that I got exactly what I wanted for breakfast. The things I didn’t love were, because of the position of my room, and the lack of sound proofing, I could hear everything that was said at reception or on the staircase early in the morning to late at night. Closing the sliding door at the entrance to the corridor helped but it never remained shut for long. The other thing that I was disappointed with was that no food was served after breakfast. During the week, that was perfectly acceptable but on Friday night and Saturday when so many people celebrate the Jewish Sabbath I found it odd that guests were expected to find their own food. This is a kosher establishment so it left me confused. On this occasion it wasn’t a problem as I had dinner and lunch with my daughter but that might not always be an option if I was to stay again in the future. To summarise, I did enjoy my stay and I would definitely consider returning to the hotel, but I would not stay in that room again and I would ensure that I had somewhere to eat on the weekend.

Nice place, clean and in a good location. We took a room with a yard but it was unnecessary. The yard is not private and shared with the next room. For such a sum of money I expected more emphasis on the small details. The room had an exposed electrical plug, there were drinking bottles but no opener, the weight did not work, no hot milk for coffee or heating option and finally the cleaner was accidentally updated that we went out and opened the door to enter while we where in the room.

This hotel was a wonderful introduction to Tel Aviv! Off the main streets yet close enough to walk and enjoy the sites. Room was simple yet elegant, clean & cozy! The staff at White Villa was just lovely and helpful in all aspects. And they put together a fabulous breakfast! I would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Everything is spotless and decorated to perfection. Most comfortable amazing king sized bed in the deluxe room. Feather layer on bed feather pillows. Large tv. Lovely sitting area outside the room. One of the nicest most beautiful rooms I’ve stayed in in Israel. Very private. Nice breakfast.

I say hidden gem because you can walk right by this hotel and not know its there, which is to say it’s small, quaint and better than expected. We had two well appointed rooms, that were decorated to help relax and rest, especially if you’re touring Israel and this is the end of your journey. The bath is stocked with Ahava, and the mini bar is complimentary! We had two amazing breakfasts, also included with our stay. The beds, robes and shower were all cozy. Only issue was that they use real keys for the door, and the locks are very tricky. We had two rooms so going back and forth required some pre-planning. Don’t let that stop you!

Stayed here nearly a full week in both the grand deluxe and standard rooms. We asked to move from the first to the second, which was smaller but had an outside patio that we could enjoy. All-in-all we were in 3 different rooms. (I recommend outside rooms with windows on two sides or rooms with outside seating.) The windows open in all the rooms, which is very important to me. The beds, towels and toiletries are top notch. The showers are very nice. The design is clean and modern. The breakfast was very good - from an (unchanging) menu, except on Shabbat when it is a buffet. Espresso maker in room. Note: they should have both expresso and tea mugs in the room not just tiny espresso cups. There is also a lounge area where you can get drinks served to you - wine, beer, water, tea and coffee - at any time day or night. The bottled water in our room wasn't restocked every day, we had to ask. Minibar items are complimentary, just some Perrier and a few sodas. I didn't realize until we were leaving that they had bikes available. That would have been nice to have on several days of our visit, but no one told us about them. There is a 24 hour front-desk person, which was very nice when we had to leave early morning for the airport and so on, and they are helpful with reservations and other concierge duties.
