20 yr old male travelling with 60 yr old mum Great location for soaking up old city vibe (so everything closes at night) and pretty close to info centre (don't take their work as fact though...we went all the way out to the train station on the outskirts of Jerusalem following their directions only to find out there weren't any...

This guest house is in the heart of the Old City, walking distance to all sights and has great views from both it's terrace and from the rooms! The morning buffet breakfast is also a wonderful way to begin the day! We stayed here 4 nights and were highly impressed. The rooms are a bit small, but if you are...

My family and I stayed for three days in the center of Jerusalem. The Lutheran Guest House is clean, confortable, modern, yet simple. The breakfast is great, and the location unbeateable. It has an old computer that people can use for free and there is a wifi zone if you bring your own. Great value for the money.

We stayed here as a couple, and it was a pretty good experience overall. The location is perfect, the whole place is spotlessly clean, the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is sufficient. Where it really falls down is the staff. Some of the staff (Johnny in particular) are fantastic, but others are just atrocious, which kinda messes up the...

Our experience here was very positive. The rooms are modest and comfortable; the furnishings and facilities are nice. We were so pleasantly surprised to look out the window and see the Dome of the Rock. The location is quite good for the Old City, near the Jaffa Gate. As TravelMaven noted, you must walk cobbled paths and stairs the Old...

I agree with many of the positive review that have been written before me. The Lutheran Guesthouse is superb. It is clean, elegant and wonderfully located in the Old City - close enough to the Jaffa gate to walk to it within minutes, which means you have easy access to both the Old City and the New City as well...

If you're willing to embrace the historical simplicity & modesty of this special location you'll feel very at home. To arrive at this guest house you must walk cobbled paths and stairs through old Jerusalem. Heavy luggage or wheels can prove burdensome (I won't make any analogies here but you get the picture). The guest house itself has marvelous views...

The Lutheran is located in a quiet part of the old city and is relatively easy to find. Rooms are simple like a college dorm but airconditioned, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful giving you plenty of space to relax and soak up the experience. Breakfast was basic but included good coffee! Considering the cost it represents pretty...

Stayed at the Lutheran Guesthouse for a week in July. It was a nice space, very clean and calm in the middle of the hectic old town. The staff was sometimes very friendly and sometimes not. For how expensive it was I was a little underwhelmed. The jury is still out on whether or not I would come back.

In the heart of the old city, its a great location to get everywhere. There is a lovely terrace where we had cocktails. Our room was simple, almost like a college dorm but more than enough space, and very clean. It is also quiety and the neighboring merchants are all charming.
