We had a one day stay in Jerusalem concentrating entirely on the old city. We we're recommended the Scottish Guesthouse by a friend and we're not disappointed! The reception was warm and welcoming and the place oozed old fashion charm. The rooms were simply furnished (with no TV - fantastic!) and very comfortable. The location was excellent with a short...

The best feature of St. Andrew's Scottish Guesthouse is its location. One can leave the car in the lot and walk into old town Jerusalem. We walked down into the valley then climbed the walk to the Jaffa Gate, but it would be much easier to walk through the park to the western side of the city and then to...

We stayed a week at St Andrews Scottish Guest House and were very satisfied with our accommodation. Though the room was simple and unadorned it was very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent and the staff attentive and friendly at all times. The location is perfect with tremendous views of the Old City. The Guest House is around ten minutes walk through...

Stayed 3 nights at the Guest House and enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms were very comfortable and ours was spacious. Breakfast was huge with many choices. This is a quiet, very relaxed place which was very welcome after long days of touring. A great place to relax and reflect on the day's activities and sites. Great location within walking...

We had a beautiful view of the Old City. Excellent breakfast & great sitting area for visiting after breakfast or late night There were 9 in our group. We had a balcony and the window opened and we could walk out and see the City at night.

We (family of four) stayed here for several days - first in a two room suite and then, a second time (after a visit to Petra!) in two separate rooms. All three rooms were clean and well serviced - plenty of towels, tea/coffee in-room, though I wish they would dispense with those sachets of shampoo and use small bottles instead,...

I stayed 2 nights here and it was the best 2 nights if my week long stay in Israel. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is so peaceful, Jacob, Ala, Ibriham and Peter the reception staff and Wadi the chef couldn't be more friendly and helpful, the rooms are basic but modern, clean and comfortable, any meals were lovely, the...

We stayed at the St Andrew's guesthouse in Jerusalem. The hotel is in a spectacular setting with breathtaking views of Jerusalem. The rooms are somewhat minimalistic but more than adequate. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home. We enjoyed the hearty breakfasts and how the hotel provides easy access to most places of interest in the...

This might seem an unlikely place for a Scottish guesthouse, but it is excellently sited just outside the old, walled city of Jerusalem. With the atmosphere of a gentleman's club, library, terrace and comfortable bedrooms, this is a wonderful place to stay. The tariff includes an extensive buffet breakfast. Bedrooms are large, clean, airy, air conditioned and without TV (a...
