Great staff, decent room, good location. The breakfast buffet here is great but pricey. Everyone is so helpful, especially Abed at the reception desk. He is a first rate person and a great ambassador for the hotel. Only downside is that there is nothing to eat around the hotel.
We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour group, and found it to be a wonderful hotel. Our breakfasts and dinners were provided as part of our stay, and the meals were all buffet with a wonderful variety of foods. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and with our late arrival our first night they had thoughtfully provided a food tray in the room. I loved the elevators - you told it a floor, and it directed you which elevator would take you there, almost always with minimal weight. Our room in theory had a view of the old city, but it was really the old city direction, with the walls sort of visible. That said, the location was excellent; we could walk to the city walls in about 15 minutes. I don't know the room rate since it was paid as part of our tour, but we would definitely love to stay here again on a future visit.…
We stayed overnight at the Inbal and enjoyed it tremendously. The hotel staff is courteous and very helpful. They answered all of our questions and helped with any request. The rooms are super clean and recently remodeled. Even a basic room was more than just comfortable and felt luxurious. The food at the hotel-we ate breakfast was also luxurious and fresh with a tremendous amount from which to choose and it was all presented beautifully and plentiful and delicious. We hope to visit many more times in the future.
The Inbal never disappoints! The rooms are spacious and modern. The staff is fabulous and the breakfast buffet is amazing! I've stayed there many times over the years and its always a treat to come back
I cannot say enough nice things about our stay at the Inbal. Rooms - good size and our room was quiet. Unlike most hotels that have cut back on their lighting, our room had plenty of light. Good view outside. The refrigerator worked well keeps beverages very cold. The beds are large and very comfortable. Room service is daily and the internet connection worked well. They have a desk to work on which I liked. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap, kleenex, towels, etc. They don't skimp on anything. Only complaint is that the Expresso machine didn't work. I don't drink Expresso so this was no big deal. They have a good workout room on the floor below the lobby and it is open 24/7. The TV connection does not work well on the elliptical machines (minor inconvenience). They have plenty of other exercise equipment, ie; treadmills, weights, mats, etc. The swimming pool is olympic size. The breakfast buffet is the best. Plenty of pastries, fresh salads, omelets cooked to order, pancakes, waffles, breads, cheeses, oatmeal, yogurt, orange juice, expresso, coffee, vegetables, etc. Their guacamole is some of the best I have tasted. They don't have buffets like this in the U.S. Everything was fresh. Location is great. Only about a mile from Old City of Jerusalem. Everything is within walking distance. Jerusalem is safe and we walked everywhere at night. Staff and concierge service are the best. A great time to visit is early November. Weather was in the 70's every day. Even when it rains, it doesn't last long. They offer a laundry service which I also appreciated. Drop off your laundry before 10 am and you will have your laundry back before 7 pm. The person who helped us is Maj. He set up day tours for us to Masada, Bethlehem and Galilee. VIP tours are the way to go. They are more expensive but you get to skip the long lines and ride in Mercedes Benz vans. We also had the VIP service when our flight arrived and we were able to get through Customs/Immigration in about 20 minutes. Highly recommend the VIP pickup and drop off service at the airport. Overall, a great stay.…
The Inbal is a really lovely hotel. I hope my critical remarks below don’t detract from an overall good impression. The rooms are small but comfortable - the bathrooms are super compact. Many of the balconies are only just big enough to stand on! Rooms have a safe and refrigerator and adequate cupboard and drawer space. Our bed was not particularly well made with creases and wrinkles and the sheet not well tucked in. We were awoken at 7:15am by the room attendants chatting loudly right outside our door and my wife had to shush them. This happened more than once. The afternoon before we checked out, there was a knock on our door and the room attendant wanted us to know that he would not be working the following day - in case we wanted to reward him for doing his job! We were rather astonished - that was a first for us. There are definitely some training needs that should be addressed. We ate twice in the hotel’s dairy restaurant and the food was very good although the selection was a little limiting especially if you are trying to eat no/low carbs as it featured pizza and focaccia breads. We ate very delicious fish - twice. Some of the staff don’t understand much English and are not over keen to engage in conversation let alone smile at guests. The hotel has lots of nice lounges and some outdoor space. It is quite conveniently situated for visiting Jerusalem sights, Malmilla and the Old City and the old Railway Station which is only a 10 min walk away, is full of small stalls and restaurants and is buzzing with atmosphere.…
Review is for Majd and the concierge team. Majd was very helpful in arranging a FedEx package back to the US for me and went through a lot of trouble to make sure service was excellent. He definitely sets a high bar and the Hotel is very lucky to have him!
My wife and I visited Israel and stayed at the Inbal Jerusalem hotel for 10 days. It was a truly 5 star experience. The chief concierge Majd Alami was exceptional! He made us feel welcome and made us feel that we were his only customers. Overall the staff was professional and caring. This was our first visit, and we are planning on returning in a few months.
Celebrating Succot at the Inbal in Jerusalem this year was absolutely spectacular! Their incredibly beautiful succot, sumptuous array of culinary delicacies, and attentive service team created a warm and most magical experience for our family. In particular, Osama Ansari, chief checker, expertly orchestrated numerous holiday and Shabbat seatings for over 800 guests each meal! - A most impressive achievement! Many thanks, Dr. Lisa Perl, Lawrence, New York
The Inbal exceeded our expectations! The room was wonderful and well appointed with a fantastic view and balcony overlooking Old Jerusalem. The Executive lounge was fantastic and well stocked with a good variety of liquor and food. The breakfast buffet was by far the best I’ve ever experienced!
