Huge hotel geared toward large tourist groups. Mobbed with large groups of people, including the breakfast buffet. There were four of us, and it became apparent that the hotel didn't care about our small group. Room key stopped working. No food to be found in the hotel after a certain hour, and the food that was available was kosher (read:... More

They have the most helpful staff!! Our luggage got lost and they helped us find replacements and helped us reschedule our tours. The breakfast was delicious and a great variety! It was close enough to the old city but not too close. A short cab ride away. Enjoyed several restaurants within walking distance.

Wow !!, what a weekend!! . Amazingly, our check-in was handled quickly and efficiently, and we were soon on our way to our adjoining rooms ( 2 adults 1 adult child, 1 child). With such a large hotel with such an unconventional layout, our first minutes were spent hunting for our room, but helpful staff soon had us heading in... More

I stayed in the older part of the Hotel, and the room was a pretty decent size as was the bathroom. The bath/shower only has a half door, and water gets all over the floor. There is plenty of storage for your bathroom items, but limited for more than 1 suitcase. There were not a lot of outlets for electronics... More

The first time I stayed at the Dan was in the late 90s. It was an amazing experience, however, no longer. I stayed there again in 2007 and it was already having problems but the staff tried to fix it by moving me to a lovely room. This time, the rooms had so many things wrong with them, I gave... More

We stayed at the Dan for 3 nights. The rooms are nice and spacious and have been refurbished. Even though the common area could use a brush up this is truly a great place to stay. staff are friendly and service is better than in more expensive hotel near the city centre. The pool is the largest I have seen... More

This hotel is large and spread out. Our group was also spread out. We were at the farthest corner of the fourth floor and some of the others were in similar locations on other floors. It was a long walk from the lobby. The carpets and walls of the halls are worn and old looking but the lobby is huge,... More

This was used as the base hotel for our 10D trip in Israel. Huge and well equipped for big tour groups like ours. Everything is nicely arranged like clock work. Buffet breakfast and dinner were great though we have the same stuff throughout. The best selections were in the breads/rolls and desserts. Rooms were clean & comfortable and facilities were... This hotel was suitable for our Family of mixed ages ranging from 75 to 15. We wanted to show my grand daughter the important sites of Jerusalem. Our delight was to be able to also return to the hotel which offered holiday facilities such as a beautiful pool area after a hot day touring. Lounge in the evening very sociable... More

Our room was spotlessly clean when we got there and it was cleaned and freshened up every day. The service in the lobby was flawless. We did not have a good view out of our room but that was the only criticism... The food in the restaurant was served buffet style. The had a wife variety of meats, veggies and... More
