Having traveled all over & staying in Ritz Carltons and Fairmonts, having seen the Dan in Conde Nast, I was a little disappointed in the upkeep of the hotel - maybe I'm a little spoiled. The hotel was situated in a quiet area of the city and there were several shops within walking distance. For the most part, the room...

This property provided what I was looking for in my travels to Jerusalem. The room was clean and very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the internet service was excellent. The breakfast and dinner meals offered a large selection to choose from and the food was delicious.

The Dan Jerusalem Hotel is an imposing building built on many levels. It has great views of the city. The public spaces are very good and the bars and restaurants have good food. It is very convenient for Hebrew University where I was attending a conference. My room was little on the 'tired' side. A drawer wouldn't open, the door...

We had great and friendly service in the restaurant from Walid. Room was comfortable and clean. Restaurant was a little closed off with fare that was simpler than other places we stayed in while visiting Israel.

My husband and I stayed here for five nights with a tour group. Although the public areas were rather nice, our room was a bit run down and needed a renovation. Older wood furniture was showing some age, and the heating vents were dirty. A huge balcony was nice, but there was no chairs to sit outside. Giant soft bath...

The hotel is just a little bit away from where the 'action' is but this shouldn't be a major concern for those travelling to Jerusalem. What makes this interesting is that when you enter the lobby, you'll be at the 6th floor of the hotel. Going down to the 4th floor you'll see a very nice view of the city...

We were with a group, but upon check in we asked for an upgraded room. For $80 more per night, we got a room on the 7th floor-business floor with a great view of Jerusalem. It was well worth the price. The room was modern, comfortable with a good bath. The banquet food was fine-- the desserts & salads were...

The Dan is clearly geared to bus groups, with its large yet cramped dining room on the lowest level (hotel is built on a hill, so entrance is on level 6). The meals are buffet-style and generally good, but the closely set long tables and scruffed chairs jammed together make it feel like a cafeteria rather than a pleasant dining...

I've been 3 times in Jerusalem but I gotta be honest this is the best hotel I've ever stayed in Jerusalem. Very nice interior, extraordinary hospitality, breakfast & dinner are exquisite. simply the best! Mostly when I stayed in Jerusalem, foods in the hotel are not really that good for asian tongue like mine, but this hotel served so many...

This is a wonderful hotel in Jerusalem. Clean rooms, excellent amenities, fantastic restaurant and food options. Traveled with a group, and the hospitality towards our group was wonderful. A snowstorm in the US canceled our flights, and saw us spending a few more days in Israel, and the management here handled our needs graciously. We will recommend this hotel to...
