This hotel is a somewhat typical example in a country of bad hotels. The facility is reasonable, but the management, the staffing, the caring, and the working of things leaves so much to be desired. The attitude towards customers is negative and neglecting. WiFi costs money, and is still VERY UNRELIABLE or not working at all; unfortunately, the hotel does not...

One of the worst hotels I´ve ever been... and I do travel a lot. All started with double bookings which they apparently could not cancel. We ended up canceling them ourselves. Then began the circus with the internet. During the whole stay they could not make the internet work... and were continuously blaming us for being incompetent users. We are...

After sleeping in a Bedouin tent the night before, we arrived in at Jerusalem Gold around 5:00PM. Earlier in the day we had hiked Mount Masada, visited the waterfalls and swam in the dead sea. Admittedly, we just wanted to get up to our rooms, take a shower and a nap. That however, was not an option. We were told...

We recently stayed at this hotel overnight with our three young children. We booked the room last minute and were reasonably pleased. We reserved a family room which consisted of two very small connecting rooms. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms while clean can use a bit of an update.Breakfast was ok nothing great. This hotel is a 25 minute walk...

Not the ideal place to stay. Although the manager seems to be trying to deliver a fair product, it seems her efforts are less than successful. Cleaning staff are overworked; for example, clean towels were not available until late in the afternoon. Staff had to return a couple of times to deliver face cloths, then towels, then soap/shampoo! Organization seems...

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean, the rooms & beds are exceptional. I cannot say enough about how delicious the food is. I have stayed in several hotels in Jerusalem over the years and this is, by far, our best experience.

The Jerusalem Gold Hotel, not to be confused with the larger Jerusalem Gate Hotel right next door, is the place to rest your weary body after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and clean. The food is delicious, best tuna fish salad I've ever had, and the freshest salads. The best part of the hotel, however,...

Quite a good basic hotel near the central bus station...Around a 30 minute walk to the Old City, breakfast was good and some nice quickie restaurants nearby. About a 20 minute walk to Ben Yehuda Street. It was ideal for my business needs.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the reviews we read but were pleasantly surprised how clean it was (it's old but clean). Breakfast was good and we were all satisfied each morning. It's farther away from the city than anticipated and after staying there we wished we had stayed in or closer to the old city. You'll pay the...

I have been at this hotel before and at the time, I had booked it through booking.com. This time, I wanted somewhere to spend the night so I just walked up to the reception and asked if they had a room. Nasser, who was at the reception at the time was very nice and facilitated this for me. I was...
