My great thanks to Hamis Rahman, the dining room manager. He noticed my elderly aunt taking pills at breakfast and went out of his way to make sure she had everything she needed and was perfectly comfortable. We couldn't be more happy and feel well looked after.
The wonderfully helpful staff at the reception and dining room made our stay. They were always kind and caring. The location was excellent and we all enjoyed the warm friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!
So here I am at my favorite “Go To” place in Jerusalem, Dan Panorama! There is always something to add every time I stay here: THANK YOU, ELNA for going above and beyond to help me! A special “Shout-out” and thank you to Nechama at the Dan Reservation center too! As an Office Manager who fixes things I know that one gets paid for when things go WRONG not Right: I was supposed to check in on a Friday. On that Monday I found out that my host in Ashkelon had Covid-19! Therefore I would have to rearrange my schedule to stay longer in Jerusalem! I called to reserve an extra four days at Dan Panorama. I was unsure they could give me the same room for those extra days. ELNA to the rescue! Elna made sure that I was able to check in that night! Thank you Elna for being there for me when it counted most! Thank you Nechama for calling me a few times to reassure me that Dan Panorama was doing their best to help me! You both are the best!! So here I am having a wonderful stay at the place I call “ my home away from home” in Israel! Also thank you Gal and the entire Dan Panorama staff! When I checked in the front desk people greeted me with warmth and kindness, a Dan Panorama speciality! In addition my room had nice snacks waiting for me too, including chocolate and fresh water! Wow it’s so great to be here! I only wish “ here” was 8000 miles closer! Thank you again!…
Great Hotel with an EXCELLENT location. 10-15 minute walk to Jaffa Gate, about same walking distance to downtown Jerusalem with great restaurants and bars. If you are looking for THE BEST PASTA /PIZZA in the universe go to P2 (Pasta Pizza)….its only a couple minute walk from hotel. Super casual and SUPER excellent. Very special THANK YOU to one of the managers at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem hotel…Mr. Saloon Abu Laban. He is simply the best. Very attentive and made our stay at the hotel unforgettable!!
Really poor customer service all around. The rooms are very cold and noisy as the old and ill fitting windows do not fit in their frames. It not even a cheap hotel and all in all its not at all a nice experience. I shall not return here, its really in need of an overall huge improvement. The food is not great, breakfast is a rather chaotic mess.
It is a dated hotel, which did not bother me, but the real kicker was the lack of customer service. I went to the business lounge which was on the same floor where our rooms were and requested two spoons for my children. The woman said that it could not have them!!! She somehow explained that the utensils were special for the lounge. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible customer service. There were other issues but this was the icing on the cake. Stay elsewhere!
Good buffet spread, comfortable rooms, polite and prompt service. Nice amenities in the room. Hotel is centrally located, walking distance to Mamila Shopping Mall, as well as other amenities and cool shops. My friends and I will recommend this hotel to our friends!
Stayed here as part of a tour group. Very good location within walking distance of Jerusalem's Old City. Food was delicious with lots of choices at both breakfast and dinner. Service was excellent! The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the lobby, and the roof top terrace. Pool looked nice, too, but didn't have the opportunity to use it. Would stay here again!
My stay at the Dan Panorama was as I imagined and more. The staff made sure that details were taken care of. Alaa and his housekeeping crew were friendly. Thanks to Luisa, my room was welcoming every day I came back to rest. The food is fresh and I enjoyed their soup selection, Bassam does an amazing job keeping everything nice.
The Dan Panorama is a first-rate hotel, not far from the Mamilla Mall and the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem. The rooms are very comfortable, and the housekeeping is outstanding. The breakfast is substantial and will certainly keep you going until lunchtime. The staff treated us very kindly. It is more a good 4-star vacation hotel, rather than a commercial or business hotel.
