When I was 7 years old and first started learn Hebrew I learned about the King David Hotel and since then I have wanted stay there. Well I finally got the opportunity to do so last week and it was worth the 40+ year wait!! The King David Hotel is indeed one of the most if the most iconic hotel...

We reserved with the American Express Platinum Fine Hotels concierge and it was a great choice - we were extended every courtesy, including a room upgrade. It is a grand hotel in the old European style, with big public rooms, and a spectacular terrace cafe. The views of the Old City are epic, and the breakfast buffet is simply unrivaled....

Stayed 5 nights as part of Odysseys Unlimited Tour. Our room was nice. King bed, bathroom double sink, tub/shower combo. Good buffet breakfast. Friday night dinner was a disappointment....overcooked. Location close to the Old City is good. Walked to Mamilla Mall for restaurants. Also ate at the YMCA across the street.

We stayed for four nights in October at the king David. We were in the rooms that have been recently renovated. They are lovely. The hotel location is great, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast is a treat. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the King David from October 21-27. Everything about the hotel was superb. Our welcome was warm, cordial and sincere. The room was very clean and well appointed. The staff was responsive to our every need. Of special note was the breakfast buffet. It was outstanding! Although this was our first trip to Israel, the experience we had...

Ask expats where they meet in Jerusalem for drinks and the best food, and it's the beautiful balcony at the King David Hotel. Overlooking the pool and tennis courts, and the valley beyond, it's a perfect place to enjoy your dinner and watch the sunset. Reasonable prices, professional wait staff, full menu. You'll enjoy your visit.

We stayed at the King David for Succot. The hotel has new competition, especially the recently opened Waldorf Astoria, but for me nothing can compare to the ambience, atmosphere (especially with 2 fabulous large succas), grounds (including fabulous outdoor swimming pool), service and family atmosphere of the King David. And really great food too, especially for Shabbat and yomtov. Lots...

Despite its attraction as a tourist stopover, the King David retains the elegance of its tradition. Our room, though small, was recently renovated with fine woodwork and an extremely comfortable king bed. A small balcony added to its enjoyment. The bathroom was immaculate. Service throughout the hotel was professional and very friendly. Within walking distance of the Old City and...

The King David is a beautiful historic building in the heart of Jerusalem. Its public spaces are beautiful, and the view over the walls of old city are truly awe-inspiring.
