This is an atmospheric and charming hotel with a wonderful garden, delightful views and situated in the charming village of Ein Kerem. Yes it is a bus ride into Jerusalem but there is plenty to see and explore in the village too and some stunning scenery. We went for a basic room and it was basic. The shower and toilet...

Dear Guest, We appreciate you taking the time to give us a truthful feedback. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the views and atmosphere. We are disconcerted to learn that the room did not meet your expectations. All of our deluxe rooms are different; there are also bigger rooms, rooms with Jacuzzi or modern bath. Nice but way overpriced. We arrived in the afternoon. Unpleasent conflict with next door neighbours on parking space. To our surprise our rooms were outside the hotel, across the street. Nice rooms but the visitor's eye does not stop inside the room. Out side was not clean at all. Also noisy by people walking in the street. Friday dinner was...

The hotel buildings, the location, the food, the concept, the staff - the Allegra has the potential to be one of your finest hotel stays ever. Ein Kerem is a quiet peaceful village on the outskirts of Jerusalem ( a 50 to 70 shekel cab ride into town)so it's not exactly "conveniently located" but the village is lovely and the...

We enjoyed our stay so much. THe location was just far enough from the commotion of Jerusalem that we had real relaxation in the town where we later found out John the Baptist was from. Nice little curbside restaurants and beatiful surrounding scenery. The Staff at Alegra was most helpful and were prepared for our arrival. Only issue was a...

If you are visiting Jerusalem, you will certainly be overwhelmed by sublime beauty - but that is most likely to be in the sights and not your hotel. If you are looking for somewhere to retreat that is equally astonishing, come to this hotel. The atmosphere is profoundly peaceful, and staff welcoming and helpful, the garden is absolutely gorgeous and...

Let's put it straight ...one forget very often in...

The location of this hotel as well as the hotel itself are both magical. It is located in the beautiful and picturesque Ein-Kerem, a pastoral Jerusalem neighborhood that has to be seen to be believed.
