The hostel is clean and well maintained. It is in an ideal location. There is a good mixture of people staying there ( families, couples, groups). The staff are extremely helpful. I would recommend Abraham tours too for the Dead Sea and Masada trip.

While at the Tel Aviv hostel waiting for the shuttle to Jerusalem I saw a lady who was appeared to be in her 70s. No matter what your age, you are welcome here and will be comfortable!

Staying in the old city is great if you are solely interested in the religious sites. The old city is very quiet in the evening and most restaurants and bars are active in the new city center, which is right where Abraham Hostel Jerusalem is located.
From Abraham to the old city you can either walk 15-20 minutes or take the tram for 2 stations.
