We chose to stay here during the beginning portion of our trip to visit Israel. On arrival we stayed two nights; they held our bags while we went to Bethlehem and stayed a night there, and on return we stayed another 3 nights. We had...More

Well equipped and clean room, very attentive volunteers and community. Stunning views from the top and easy walking disance to everywhere in the old City. Really unexpected historical building, archaeological suprises in the basement and in the beautiful Basillica. Hearty and delicious food.

Last month I paid US$65 for a single room. It's actually more of a cell -- pretty tight -- but it did have a bath and shower. The convent also offered me this alternative: "We have separate men and women dormitories with... More
