Very simple, but good spacy rooms with Wi-Fi, good and rich breakfast, very nice franciscaine sisters and personel. We were there alone and felt like being part of the community. Great to visit Old City and take buses wherever you want to go: two minutes walk! Space for car parking! Very sweet memories!

We stayed here for 5 days, and it was very pleasant. Sisters are very kind and helpful, I will be missing them. Room is simple but clean, wi-fi available, water machine available. No TV though. The location is 5 star, since it is just 2 minutes walking from Damascus Gate, and also close to but terminals.

The Sisters could not be more accommodating to their guests. Sweet, lovely and helpful. We stayed here because of the proximity to the old city. Everything was walkable. Light rail is one block away, the Damascus gate is one block away, the bus station is half a block. We could pop into the old city for Mass at 6:30am in...

This is a guest house run with love and dedication. We missed it when we moved on after 1 week. It is very well located near the Damascus Gate and near public transport such as the Jerusalem Light Rail and the Arab bus stations.

Excellent position, simple, but good rooms with all the comforts (except TV-set), there is Wi-Fi, good and rich breakfast, nice franciscaine sisters as personnel. Friendly staff at the reception (Mrs. Norma, Mr. Francis), great Sister Herminia! Everything was good, and I'll remember my stay here for a long time and with gratitude.

Our small party stayed here over a couple of weeks in September 2013. Spotlessly clean and tidy, bedrooms are simply and beautifully equipped, fully air conditioned and lovely en suite bathrooms. Loads of hot water. Beds comfortable and lots of pillows, linens and towels changed daily etc. Breakfast delightful; breads and toast, fruits and cereals, hot savouries, great coffee, cheeses...

My husband & I stayed here at the end of January for 6 nights . Both the room and private ensuite are very clean. All the staff were super helpful and friendly especially Sister & Francis. Emails need to be kept brief and simple to assist with language barriers. When I had not received a reply I phoned and found...

With four nights to spend in Jerusalem and a tight budget, Franciscaines de Marie Guest House was a great find. Right outside the walls of the old city by the Damascus gate and with free secure parking, I challenge anyone to find better value. Sat-nav didn't recognise Nablus Road as a destination, but friendly Arabs were keen to point us...

Less than one block from Damascus Gate into the Old City, this is convenient location. It is run by nuns in the Franciscan Order, and they are kind and helpful, particulary Sister Herminia who seems to be in charge. The Arab Christian staff all speak English and are also helpful. I stayed in a room off the garden which included...
