Strongly unrecommended We stayed at the New Palm three and a half nights. Though I let them know in advance we would be at 3 am, the guy in charge of a night shift didn't know whay room to give us and he put us to a super tiny and shabby one. I talked to Alex, the boss, the next...

The room was as small as when we opened the door it was almost crashed with the end of the bed. There were no windows in the room what made it like a being in a box. The room was also full of humidity and as I tried to switch on the AC it was stinking so I had to...

I stayed in the dormitory which turned out to be great for the price. It was nice to have access to a kitchen as well as free tea and coffee. Fantastic location right outside the old city. The owner was extremely helpful when I forgot my iPod in the room. He kept it safe for 8 months until my friend...

- I stayed in one of the big dorms in April - It was a little tricky to find during the day because it's in the midst's of delivery trucks and vendor stalls. You go up a staircase alongside a currency exchange (that gives horrible rates) sort of behind a vendors stall. The sheets did not feel clean and when...

Me and my friend were in a shared room and it was good. Unfortunately there was a loto of noise from the street outside, but with ear plugs was ok! Great atmosphere in the tea room, where relaxing and having a hot tea free! The best position: the hostel is up to a fruit market and next to Damascus Door!...

The Palm hostel is amazingly located, exactly behind Damascus gate, strategically position, especially if you gave friend in Mea Shearim (15min walk), Bethlehem (direct bus is in a front of building )15min walk to Western wall, even less to Church of the Holy Sepulchre....If I travel alone a dormitory is the best solution, cheaper and you can meet new friends....

If you are traveling on a budget and just want a bed in a good location, New Palm will meet your needs. Located within a few minutes walk to the Old city as well as the bus stop to Bethlehem, they provided a decent place to rest your head.

I booked the privat room with no bathroom. The room was clean and queit and has a heater and a van. In the bathrooms wc paper always avalaible, hot water for shower as well. There is no towel so you have to bring one, and no breakfast, but there are many small mini markets around you can buy cheap your...

So, you’re arriving at Jerusalem. The first place you’d like to visit is no other than the Western Wall if you’re Jewish, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre if you’re Christian, or the Al-Aqsa Mosque if you’re Muslim. Whichever your religion and way of life is, you want to hit the Old City first. Now, if you happen to come...
