Holy Land Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. To begin with, it is across the street, and down a short side street, from Damascus Gate, a three minute walk. So if you're taking the bus from the Jordanian border, as we were, this is where you get off. Second, our room had a lovely view of the Dome of... More

The owner is nice and the night clerk, I wanted to take him home with me, but honestly this isn't a welcoming hotel. The location is fine. Very hard to find, very expensive for the area, lots of tours are staying here. My room had a noisy air conditioner which took an argument to get fixed or moved. The tile... More

Stayed here for four nights at the end of a 3 week geckos tour. Definitely excellent value as part of that package. It was fairly quiet due to a general downturn in tourism (still a couple of annoying Christian coach groups with their self righteous capacity to get in your way all the time) but the proximity to the old... The entrance and lobby are unassuming but the rooms at this hotel are modern, well-equipped and have only recently been renovated. They are remarkable value in this expensive city. The bed and linen were excellent; the bathroom had a powerful.shower and plenty of hot water . The reception staff went out of their way to be helpful; everyone was friendly... More

A disappointing entrance but as they say don't judge a book by its cover, nice clean spacious rooms. The bathrooms are big very clean and the showers were surprisingly powerful. The staff were very friendly although at times minor communication problems occurred. A good choice of breakfast and the location speaks for it self less then five minutes away from herods... More

Located in the eastern part of Jerusalem in a shabby 3rd world-type neighborhood, the entrance & lobby are less than impressive. But the rooms & bathrooms are spacious enough, & clean. I like bathrooms & the shower area with enough counter space to hold more than just a toothpaste & shampoo bottle, & this one had more than enough space.... More

I stayed there in May 2014 and the hotel had just been renovated. The rooms are spotless and comfortable even if smallish and quite noisy given that the place is packed with tours/pilgrim guests. The food was good and laundry service worth what you had to pay for it. The big advantage of this hotel resides in its location as... More

We booked this hotel as part of our tour. The main entrance was not really impressed as it doesn't look like hotel entrance. The room and bathroom was great and new as they just renovated. Very well designed ,clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with variety of food. They also offer free WiFi. Location was great, walking distance from some... More

After one year I returned to this hotel and found the rooms renovated, clean bathrooms with high standard and excelent materials - now a good 4*-Standard. The restaurant, however, deserves a maximum of 3*: the staff friendly, but with its pilgrim groups from Asia and Africa quite noisy, the buffet ok, but nor more.

Great location & all the staff very helpful. The room I occupied was pristine, with a nice view & certainly enough space for two people. Breakfast was good & the laundry service was worth the small cost. My only complaint is that I had no wifi reception in my room & the TV had a poor signal. But I'd return... More
