Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Noise, cigarettes smoke, no hygiene in room, old, broken. If there was another hotel available, we would leave. I would not let my dog sleep in this dirty hole. Until 4am noise from other rooms. Sanitary is made in 80th. Breakfast is poor. This is the most unliked hotel that I saw ever.

Was an insult spend a night there. Management lacks of any shame and just have the place to get as much easy money as they can. Government might close it, it's a risk for guests health. Extremely noise all night

DO NOT STAY HERE!! the room was dirty and the bathroom was falling apart. the beds were uncomfortable and nasty. This building should be torn down or shut down and completely renovated. The location was good and the customer service was half decent, could be better.

You can't expect a miracles in a cheap hotel. The diskotek plays music in the middle of the night very loud. There is the pool, but without the water. At night you don't feel comfortable to be in the darkness around the hotel. The hotel needs a good renovation. They clean every day, but you can see probably 2 years old dust under your bed. 1 out of 4 clerks does not feel that he is at work. He has a personal conversation all day long and he is not very happy when you call him for a help. You almost never can see him at the front desk. The good news is the location is not too far from a Mall and the beach. Most of the staff are friendly, but not everybody. Highly recommend to avoid, unless you can't afford a better one. Good luck.

There is only one word for this so-called hotel:filth, the place it filthy , first thing we felt when we got there is heavy smell of cigarette smoke , the staff are smoking in their work places and do not give a flying frick about law , that forbids smoking in public places. Do not visit Aquamrine Eilat!

The location is great and the receptionist was nice and productive. Despite that, the room was not so good - the shower was broken and rusty, the curtains were dirty and the beds were uncomfortable. This place would suite you if you were a traveler with low budget.

Really well located, close to the beach, transport, shopping mall and restaurants. Small modest rooms, still well cleaned every day. Batrhooms were clean in our 2 rooms, no complains. Its good for younger people, as there is disco under the windows, lot of youngsters running over the corridors in the evening. Reception was helpful, wifi worked, breakfast poor. Lobby was the most shabby place with dirty armchairs. Swimming pool does not function.

I stayed in Aquamarine Hotel for a week. The price is definitely OK for this location - it's just a short walk from the beach, and it's close to the central bus station and the famous "musical fountains". It's a big advantage for a low budget tourist! Also the staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day, and the cleaning staff is doing a great job, but this place really needs a renovation (mainly the bathrooms). Rooms have small fridges, but some of them are broken - mine, for example, had the door to the freezer broken (it's inside the fridge), so it had frozen my water and desserts overnight. You can often smell cigarettes on the corridor, but I guess it's more common in Israel and I'm not really used to it. Also, there is no wi-fi in the rooms, and the one provided in the lobby is really poor - I used to go outside to catch the Eilat city free wi-fi instead, as it was faster (but still bad). For a person who did not have a local internet card it was quite a big disadvantage, as I'm using it to find some tips, download maps and tickets, etc. There is a nice TV, but well, I'm not traveling to watch TV (not to mention that there were only Israeli TV stations). All in all, if you don't mind average conditions and would like to stay in a hotel that is close to the beach and the bus station for a reasonable price, I would recommend this place. It can do better and I hope it will as I really want to visit Eilat again, and this hotel's location was just great.
