Just turned to our family favourite hotel. We arrived for 2 nights at passover and it was above our expectations. The room was wonderful with a beautiful view to the sea. The breakfast was contained a lot of options for us and for the children. We will definitely be back 👍
We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights after it was recommended to us by our son and wife who stayed here. According to their experience we upgraded the room to a ‘superior’ one. When arriving at the hotel we were told that they don’t have such a room available so we got a different and larger room. The hotels Guest Relations Manager Janna R. was helpful in this regard. The room was good - with a balcony and all the amenities needed. The room - like the hotel itself is clean. Breakfast was great with a very large variety to choose from. Seating is both in and outdoors which is great. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect! Just by the beach and the promenade. All in all the service is good except for a minor issue that we had which again is minor but irritating. We are members of the ‘e-Dan’ hotel club and as such we were supposed to get a ‘gift’ from the hotel. I mentioned this upon arrival and was promised that this will be done. Nothing. The next day I reminded again and I was assured that this will be dealt within an hour. Nothing. Reminded again and I was promised again but nothing. As I mentioned this is a minor issue but I would expect the hotel and the staff to stand behind their obligations and promises. If we return to the hotel it will mainly be because of its superb location.…
Stayed here for a family trip the views from the room are lovely but what was exceptional was the service in the restaurant I am gluten and lactose intolerant and a chef took me round each meal explaining what I could eat and made a special plate for desert at dinner and breakfast they were so helpful and I had lots of choice
Grate pool , it was winter and the water was 26 degrees hot, the rooms are clean and the view is fine. The rooms are bit small but fare enough for 2 persons, the food is excellent , services are fine. Best location you can ask for , better then other expensive hotels
The hotel was recently purchased by Dan group hotels and that is it's saving grace. Although rooms are outdated the staff tries to make its best effort to answer each and every request. There were some problems with our room and after replacing it around 3 times we finally got a nice one. To my knowledge the hotel is about to get renovated, but again the staff is its greatest asset. Food is nice although have to say that very basic by Israeli standards for the breakfast, although there was a big buffet pastries were somehow pretty bad. A nice surprise was at dinner, where there was a great and rather tasty array of dishes, so by my standards dinner is a must. I must acknowledge Ms. Janna Ragutsky (the guest relations manager). Without her our all experience would have been much worse. When she heard about all the room problems and the fact that it is a celebratory vacation she did her outmost to cater for our every need. Bottom line- If I come back it will be after the renovation.…
I have to say Eilat in summer is hot , and I mean 39-42c but it is a dry heat, so easier to deal with.. Neptune’s rooms were big enough, excellent facilités, we had one large room with a king size bed ( or bigger) and another room with a sofa bed, very clean and lovely little gifts every evening, a fruit basket, some chocolates. Staff is friendly and bands backwards to help. Special thanks to Elias on reception that did all to sort out excellent rooms for my sister in law with her very sick husband at check in. Food is excellent and full of variety . The pool is so clean, in charge of it is an old gentlemen that started every morning at 545 clearing and cleaning ready by 8 for opening. There is a gate to let you out to the beach. The beach is communal for all- sea great shame beach gets dirty quickly but nothing to do with such a brilliant hotel. Don’t want to leave! Thank you again…
To all who are interested, Perfect location, great attention to cleanliness but more meaningful than it all - personal and warm customer service lead by the Guest Relations Manager: Revital Benjamin!! Upon natural confusion coming out of Covid restrictions and the mix up between Israeli and US credentials, she was able to solve matters with a smile, elegance and repeated gestures that have truly touched our hearts and made our post Covid girls trip reunion so extra special. Don’t hesitate and book your next stay at the Neptune.
I recommend to stay in this hotel... the view is breath taken..... clean, and comfortable 😌 it is close to everything..near the beach 😉 and the mall is in a few minutes away. I add a picture from the balcony 😊
Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed at Neptune for 4 nights. The best part is location and the view from the balcony. The breakfast is nice, plenty of choices . We booked a suite , hoping to enjoy a nice room , something above a standard room. Well, first of all, the elevator does not go all the way to the room entrance, as you have to go something like half floor up by stairs, which was very inconvenient considering we had a baby in stroller. This fact was never mentioned in information about this type of room. The suite itself is very dated, and the level of cleaning is very unsatisfactory, especially now, with all the corona pandemics stuff going around. You would be expect that the hotel will put an extra effort in keeping thing clean , but not so much happened. The door handles were sticky only God knows from what, there were dust on surfaces. The bath tub is very old and the metal parts stained with corrosion. There was some dirt on the tiles besides the sink , which I easily removed with wet wipes, meaning no one even tried to clean it before me. One day we were out and came back to find the sink full of water , which my son left there, accidentally pushing the plug down . No one even bothered to drain the water and to wash the sink during daily maintenance. The daily cleaning was very symbolic, the floor wasn’t cleaned every day. Just making the beds counts for cleaning at this hotel. The elevator cabins were dirty most of the time, and it was the same dirty stain around the buttons for 4 days! There is a man at the main entrance, taking the temperature from anyone entering the hotel. Well, I don’t know if this is the only purpose for him standing there, but I suppose he could help me opening the door when I’m carrying a little child on my hands. But no, not even bothering himself to do that. Overall, nice location, stunning view, nice pool, but soooo overpriced , not at all worth the money we spent there.…
We had high expectations upon arrival because of the hotel’s description and rating. Unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. We had called beforehand to make sure they had a crib that would accommodate our 2,5 year young child as otherwise we would bring along our foldable crib. On the phone they clearly told us yes yes we have two different sizes of cribs, a smaller one and a larger one that would definitely fit for our 2,5 year child. Upon arrival, to our big disappointment at the front desk they told us they ONLY have cribs up to the age of 2. That meant for us that the 3 nights we were there we hardly slept as we had to take our toddler with us in bed. Another big disappointment was the lack of care for hygiene. Many of the staff (especially the housekeeping staff) walk around without a mask while cleaning your rooms. They also don’t seem to supervise/monitor guests walking around the lobby area without a mask. With all due respect, wearing a mask on your chin is not considered as wearing a mask. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one is simply because of the fact that they offered my wife a little cake for her birthday. The hotel is described as being renovated with freshly looking rooms but the reality is more like rooms looking 15-20 years old. The couch pillow in our room even had a brown stain on it 🤮. Common, in these COVID-19 times, you have to be more observant for tidiness in the rooms!…
