The hotel itself is very nice, great concept and personally, I enjoyed very much it being far from the city center. The staff is kind and thoughtful, although some of the workers aren’t professional enough (I assume it’s a consequence of the COVID crisis). The only problem is that the hotel is a bit old, and it needs a bit of refurbishing. Overall it’s a nice hotel to calm down and relax, while eating a lot of food.
I stayed in this hotel with my family at the end of Feb 2022, I had some small problem, and I call to reception. To my surprise in 1 mn, I got a call from the customer manger Mr. Avi Cohen and he apologizes and solve the problem immediately , he gave me his direct number and told me that I can call him directly! well, I was very pleased with my stay and I never saw such treatment . congratulation !!
We had an amazing vacation at the Royal Shangri-La suite which is the most amazing suite we’ve ever seen. The room was huge and beautiful, comfortable beds, amazing swimming pool and garden, everything was clean and perfect. The service was great, staff was very friendly and the food was good too.
The Orchid is located just across from the Almogim nature Reserve. The hotel is very well maintained, the staff is friendly/helpful and the location is very good. As the hotel has bungalows and is a good 10 minute drive from the boardwalk, the Orchid has more of a resort feel rather than a regular old hotel.
One of the best , clean , best view hotels in israel . Very recommended for couples and families . Any thing you need ask them you will get it immediately. Very friendly staff. Good food especially in breakfast also at dinner . Close to one of the best restaurants in Eilat - ha Millay ha Ahron , 10 minutes by walking. Also very close to all best beaches in Eilat . Very recommended!!
Very pleasant stay, excellent location far from the city's noisy and busy centre, right next to the wonderful beaches and coral spots. Good service, comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Very polite and helpful staff. Good range of good food. Thank you!
Last weekend we stayed 3 nights. The room was good and the best was the bathroom. Sorry!! this is the only good thing that I can write about our stay……. The breakfast was very poor! The food quality was very low: vegetables was not so fresh. Every morning I stood to dig the non fresh lettuce leaves. The breads was basic and less. Part of the plates wasn’t clean. The dining room cleanliness was terrible and mostly in Saturday. The orange Jose was disaster The pastries was without smell or test. We ask to get help with the TV and got an answer that someone will be soon. We still waiting…….. We left our room after breakfast and when we come back at 17:00pm it was the some as we left. We will not choose again this hotel.
Not my first time at the a hotel.. this time a 6 days vacation was just bad! The pool side and other public areas were filled with cigarette butts and people were smoking everywhere. In additions hotel STAFF and guests weren’t complaint with COVID-19 restrictions (masks and social distancing) in closed areas..
We booked this hotel online as a base for a two day diving trip in Eilat. Rated as 4 stars, we expected to find a decently nice hotel. Ariiving at the front desk to check in we were informed that the room type we booked, two double beds, does not exist. The clerk was assertively unkind and implied that we did not book this type of room. We showed him the facts and he said... Oh well. We were given an "upgraded" room which has a gallery with two mattresses on the floor. Dinner was no different where the dishes were dirty and the food served cold. The next morning, we asked for a coffee. That was served in a disposable cup by a waiter wearing latex gloves. He hasn't changed those when clearing the table besides us or when pushpin the garbage trolley. The premises is not well maintained with worn out artificial grass. The hotel is built on a hill and transportation is viw golf caddies. Those need to be called for using house phones located near the room compounds. Alas, the one next to our block was broken. The keys printed at the front desk didn't open our door and so we had to walk down the hill to reprint... You get the picture, it goes on to the maid not cleaning the gallery, no coffee replenishment... This is last visit for me and mine at the Orchid Eilat. …
