We are fans of Vitalis and have stayed here countless times. The hotel has a unique atmosphere of comfort, peace and quiet, and absence of children. Huge, well-furnished bedrooms with comfortable mattress and pillows of your choice. Great variety of professional SPA-treatments for every taste at reasonable prices. Variety of quality tasty cold and hot food and non-alcoholic drinks from morning to evening in the lounge area of the 2-nd floor. Gourme dinner or in the Lourence restaraunt of the Vitalis, in the restaraunt or the dining room of the Herods Palace hotel. The young and well-trained staff gives special attention, personal touch to each guest and always ready to help on any issue. Our gratitude to Shahav and Shadi from the front desk, to Faris providing brilliant cleanliness of our room, and also to the all lovely staff! Our big and special thanks to the CEO of the Herods Hotels in Eilat Mrs. Shila Amsalem for the personal organization of our unforgettable stay and birthday celebration! It's very nice to come back to Vitalis as a VIP-guests and still feel at home!…
The hotel has great amenities - the pool is heated, rainfall hot tub, outdoor jacuzzi, sauna and full service spa. But the rooms could use some renovating. We had a standard room, nice size for 2 people. The bathtub was jetted, which was nice, but the tub slanted and made showering difficult. Bed was comfortable. Option to order other pillows was nice. Housekeeping was very attentive to whatever we asked for. Breakfast - the waiter service is nice and expected in a 5 star hotel, but the buffet was nothing special. Although the dining room is quiet and all the staff were really wonderful. On our 2nd day we had breakfast next door at the Herod's palace - much more crowded dining room but larger selection. and no waiter service. Had drinks one night at Herod's Palace bar, the Vitalis has no bar, but you can charge anything from the Palace to your room at Vitalis. Spa was great, had a very relaxing massage. Gym is really nice, updated equipment and overlooks the beach. The relaxation room is nice - 24 hour tea service and lounge chairs to relax in. Hotel was nice but not sure I would return.…
We visited this hotel not for first time and as always this hotel provides to guest quite atmosphere, clean rooms, good food and friendly supporting service. Vivian is open to any request. Laurence Restaurant team is really great ( we can mention many names but do not want to forgot somebody) and chief prepares interesting tasty food.
It is always amazing to return to a quality hotel that gives a personal touch on a different level. At the hotel from the opening year and the reason we return to it with my mother Esther - the Holocaust survivor is his quality and personal and caring attitude and for that - thank you! The hotel operates in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and maintains the health of the guests. "Rain" suite, a huge Jacuzzi in the "Vitalis" spa, both delicious and quality meals in the "Lawrence" restaurant and a business lounge - everything is amazing, of very high quality. There is no doubt that while staying at the hotel you gather strength, health and many experiences - thank you !!!
The hotel is renovating its rooms while still being open to business. You as a guest are paying to listen to renovation and drilling noises for the entire day. Imagine how good your vacation will be then.
We spent in Vitalis hotel three nights at the beginning of October, a month that is especially suitable for a holiday in Eilat. The private beach is located directly behind this hotel. It would seem difficult to find something new and unexpected while returning to the hotel twice a year. Nevertheless, also during our last stay, we discover a number of positive changes, pleasant surprises and bonuses here. The hotel continues to be very comfortable and filled with the atmosphere of a warm, relaxing and very cozy guest home. The silence, comfort, impeccable cleanliness are a features of this hotel. All our requests were taken into account, we received an excellent well furnished and equipped room on the 12th floor, huge and immaculately clean. A bottle of wine, fruits, sweets, nuts and mineral water were kindly prepared for us as a pleasant surprise. Breakfast especially this time was of rich choice and tasty including hot dishes, great variety of high quality cheeses, cold snacks, salted and smoked fish, vegetable salads, fruits, desserts and pastries. You can also order scrambled eggs of your choice. We enjoyed meals and drinks throughout all the day in the nice lounge zone on the 2nd floor and also in the business lounge on the 11th floor. The waiters were very helpful and attentive, served quickly. Gourmet dinner is of rich choice for all the most demanding taste no matter where to get it, in Laurence restaurant of the Vitalis hotel, or in one of the restaurants of the Herods Palace hotel. SPA-zone as usually is impressive at a high service level, taking into consideration the personal wishes of guests. One of the outstanding hotel features continues to be its unbeatable service. We would particularly like to acknowledge the excellent hotel management by CEO Mrs. Shila Amsalem. We are very impressed with her personal and very warm attitude. Please accept our thanks and express our deep sympathy! All the staff is professional, provides great service and our especially thanks to receptionist Mrs. Lilian for her invaluable help and also to her colleague Michael. We chose the Herods Vitalis hotel many years ago and hope that it will be forever.…
The best hotel we've ever been to in Eilat. It is located perfectly, but you won't want to leave the facility. The room is amazing, the staff is great, there is a buffet 24/7. the pool is a bit small, but still fine. Downstairs there is a sauna and a spa area. Perfect hotel!!!
Best experience in every aspect ! We had one of the spacious suite . Everything was immaculate . The manager of the Hotel - Shila- . The great chef - Hamudi . The wonderful spa treatment by Svetlana . The maintenance of it all . Just perfect! The pool . The fact that it’s a small place isolated by the big hotels
It has long ago became a tradition for us twice a year to spend a vacation in the lovely Herods Vitalis hotel. The only break of more than a year was associated with the last pandemic coronavirus restrictions. This time our staying was related to the celebration of a family event. Check-in and accommodation were done very professionally and fast, and this is the merit of the receptionist Mrs. Lilian, she is very attentive and always ready to help on all matters. We got exactly the huge and comfortable room we asked for in advance with small but pleasant surprises, found our accommodation delightful and enjoyed from the moment we entered and until the moment when we left the hotel which is excellent in every aspect and especially suitable for couples. Calmness, silence, relaxing atmosphere and absence of children. Delicious and rich buffet breakfast, tasty lunch, generous and gourmet dinner can meet a variety of guests requirements choice no matter where to get it, in Laurence restaurant of Vitalis hotel or in one of the restaurants of Herods Palace hotel. As one of the positive changes it should be noted that the variety of lunch snacks and meals on the 2-nd floor of the lounge has become richer than before. The SPA zone offers an excellent selection of face and body treatments for the most sophisticated tastes. The only inconvenience was the temporary closure of the jacuzzi due to coronavirus restrictions but soon it will be opened like the sauna. We both got wonderful facials and Swedish massage for which we thank the physiotherapist Lydia. We would like to note once again very warm friendly attitude and excellent service provided by all the well trained staff. However, there is no well-trained "players" without an outstanding "coach". And in this regard we wish to note the high level of professionalism and outstanding leadership skills of the hotel CEO Mrs. Shila Amsalem, very nice lady always welcomes each guest with a smile and really solve all wishes and problems. Dear Shila, accept our deepest gratitude for your very warm, personal attitude and invaluable help! As usual, we had only positive emotions here from fabulous stay, "recharged our batteries", got a powerful charge of positive energy and highly recommend to relax and enjoy from accommodation here. We look forward and planning to come back to Vitalis in the nearest future.…
We have been staying at the Vitalis for years. Now that lockdowns are over, we booked Rain Suites 3 weeks ago and booked spa appointments. Beginning on the afternoon of check-in the hotel started calling. First that spa appointments needed to be changed or cancelled due to a and shortage of staff. Then, after working the spa appointments out we receive a call at 18:30 on the day of check in telling us that the room we reserved has a leak and they need to move us to a "suite" at Herods Palace. This is a downgrade for a number of reasons, most importantly that Vitalis is a 48 room Spa Hotel for Adults only. This is the specific reason that we book at the Vitalis. The rooms (especially the "suites") at Herods Palace are run down and in serious need of repair. The Palace is a very large hotel with guests that are generally loud, allow their children to run around crazy at all hours and is hardly a "relaxing" place to stay. The manager, Devorah suggested that in the morning they would switch us back to Vitalis when a room comes available. So, instead of a relaxing weekend, the hotel manager is suggesting that we go sleep in a dumpy room the first night, then have to move 1/2 way across the property to come back to "relax" for the second and last day in Eilat in and around scheduled spa appointments as well as some activities outside of the hotel. We suggested to upgrade us to a higher quality suite at Vitalis to no avail. All that we got was a "sorry" but not "sorry" response. The staff and management of this hotel are amateurish at best and just plain incompetent at providing any acceptable level of customer service and problem solving. Vitalis used to be a bright spot in Eilat, now it's no different than any other hell hole in town.…
