We have been staying at the Vitalis for years. Now that lockdowns are over, we booked Rain Suites 3 weeks ago and booked spa appointments. Beginning on the afternoon of check-in the hotel started calling. First that spa appointments needed to be changed or cancelled due to a and shortage of staff. Then, after working the spa appointments out we receive a call at 18:30 on the day of check in telling us that the room we reserved has a leak and they need to move us to a "suite" at Herods Palace. This is a downgrade for a number of reasons, most importantly that Vitalis is a 48 room Spa Hotel for Adults only. This is the specific reason that we book at the Vitalis. The rooms (especially the "suites") at Herods Palace are run down and in serious need of repair. The Palace is a very large hotel with guests that are generally loud, allow their children to run around crazy at all hours and is hardly a "relaxing" place to stay. The manager, Devorah suggested that in the morning they would switch us back to Vitalis when a room comes available. So, instead of a relaxing weekend, the hotel manager is suggesting that we go sleep in a dumpy room the first night, then have to move 1/2 way across the property to come back to "relax" for the second and last day in Eilat in and around scheduled spa appointments as well as some activities outside of the hotel. We suggested to upgrade us to a higher quality suite at Vitalis to no avail. All that we got was a "sorry" but not "sorry" response. The staff and management of this hotel are amateurish at best and just plain incompetent at providing any acceptable level of customer service and problem solving. Vitalis used to be a bright spot in Eilat, now it's no different than any other hell hole in town.

It is our 8th visit in the last 3 years and something going bad. On the first day of our arrival we were given a room in very poor condition, the sheets were stained and with hairs (not ours ...) scattered, also the floor was dirty. We immediately asked them to change all the bedding and so it was done, it must be said that in the following days the level of cleanliness improved, the rooms are comfortable but very old need ergrgent refernish - a grade of 5. Food and dining room - neither tasty nor fresh, narrow range of products and low level of service, takes half an hour to order an omelet and also coffee, although most of the staff are very service-grade 6 Spa - Only partially activated, pool and waterfalls worked, hot tub and hot pool did not work.Excellent massage treatments thanks to the excellent Irina , Svetlana and yalena grade 9. In conclusion, we stayed three months ago and felt the deterioration, but in this accommodation the situation has deteriorated, unfortunately we will return to Isrotel Royal Beach after an absence of three years

The service in the restaurant and dining room - 5 *. Dining room worker - Yasmira gives a service of 5 *. The location of the hotel is amazing. Room cleanliness at a very low level. Just change towels and add toiletries and arrange a blanket. Do not change bedding! 3 nights did not change sheet! I highly recommend the hotel. But management - please address the shortcomings. Especially cleaning during a corona virus is very important.

A hotel of peace and tranquility that I and Mother Esther have been returning to since its opening. This time our visit is special and different because of a pandemic that caused the absenteeism of the hotel: the "Vitalis" spa that we loved so much, a gym and a business lounge on the 11th floor are closed. A warm and family reception as usual on arrival at the hotel. "Rain" suite on the 9th floor is special and stunning with everything you need including treats including a huge Jacuzzi and special showers. Excellent cleaning and care Suite Although we feel a lack of an amazing person who has cared for us for years - Fares Aqaba (Jordan) who also due to pandemic restrictions does not work in the hotel. Quality massages - thanks to the amazing Alex !!! Quality restaurant "Lawrence" with delicious and varied food. A team of professional waiters and a special bartender named Or, thank you !. Huge thanks to Mrs. Shila Amsalem, the hotel manager and our old friend for the amazing hospitality and see you until the next vacation.

My wife and I stayed for a 3-night getaway, and it was superb. We were disappointed that the outdoor jacuzzi needed to be closed for COVID safety, but the Rain Suite made up for that in a great way! The staff was very pleasant, and the manager, Shila, made a point of meeting us, which was really nice. The complimentary ride from and to the airport was really sweet, too! There is no place nicer to stay, and in Eilat, this is the one we will choose!
