Nice, clean and fency hotel, located by the sea. The rooms are big, very clean and well equipped. There are a lot of underground parking lot, good for hot days. At the winter, the swimming pool is warm and you can use it the whole day. Good for families with little children.
We were there on September 8th-10th. I've been at all the Eilat's luxury resorts, and this was my first time in the Queen of Sheeba, needless to say I had great expectations as it looks splendid from outside. And so was it from inside, almost. So let's go for it: Pros: The rooms, I had an upgraded room (the expensive one) and it was very well equipped. The biggest bed I have ever had in any hotel, with a firm mattress, very friendly for my aging and aching back. And of course spotless, totally clean and giving you the feeling it is. The bathroom well equipped as well. The dining room: plenty of space for everybody and a huge buffet with everything as expected (except smoked salmon which is usually served, aren't we the spoiled ones) Cons: Starting with the room or more precisely with the bathroom: why in the world would you put such a small glass separation on the tub, water spilled from the shower and another 50cm would have done the job. The ceiling fan in the shower was too strong, couldn't be turned off, meaning noise but mainly a cold wind in your back (remember, my aging back) But most of all, we hadn't a sea view but the Laguna Hotel right down to our window, with the AC huge fans on its roof...and they were noisy. Noisy enough to be heard in the room and be an annoyance. The swimming pool: overcrowded, actually way too small for so many guests. It can't work, especially when you have no direct access to the beach nor a beach whatsoever reserved to your guests. We had to walk a few hundred meters to the Royal Beach part, and pay for the chairs and beds...why? There is no place where you can sit and enjoy a bit of silence, as I wrote for the pool, too many guests, not enough space, the lobby is big but not enough and wide opened, meaning you can't really find a quiet spot. The only solution is to get back to your room...and this doesn't do it. Finally the price: 350$ for a room with no sea view. We all know the prices at Eilat are excessive, especially for the 5 star hotels. Still this hotel offers the less expensive rates compared to the other ones but still it is too much for what is offered: As I wrote, too many guests, no space to relax, no sea view, a general feeling which is somehow one of an hotel industry. Bottom line, my wife did enjoy this hotel mainly because of the room which was spotless but I did not really: I was looking for some place to sit and relax, and read my book but couldn't find any, too many guests, not enough space, not a home feeling as I had experienced in the other resorts (you can take a look on my other reviews). So not enough bang for the buck, and I won't probably be back.…
Great holiday . breakfast open until 12 noon, thats fantastic. made it easier with the little ones and for myself who likes to sleep late on vacations. Delicious food (Not the usual commercialised hotel food) Great service. Pleasant and helpful . Clean rooms ,abundance of towels .(newspaper on the door every morning. To my dismay a leftist np called 'Yediot', why? this is actually the only criticism i have on this magnificent hotel.) Great pool experience. over all my best Eilat experience and i have been over the years to most of the better hotels in Eiilat, this one kicks...
I visited the queen of Sheba hotel for 2 days as part of a company vacation. Location: great location - right on the promenade, and great view from the room. Room: I was in a renovated room, however it seems like the bath was not renovated so good. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Food: I only had breakfast, which had a nice variety in the buffet. Pool: big pool with enough sun beds. All in all - very nice hotel
I came for a family vacation for my wife’s 30 b-day, ordered 2 rooms. The hotel is huge and has all the facilities. The breakfast is great. Got 3 different towels with previous guests’ hair in it - disgusting - and disturbing Covid19’s days. In addition the bed sheet also included a surprise of special black hair in it - disgusting #2 The response was “sorry” with some explanations of the reason it might happens (supper irrelevant), but at least they agreed its not cool. The 2nd set of towels they brought included additional towel with hair in it. I guess its the standard there. Didn’t feel a 5 star hotel, more if a hostel, bottom line: bring you own towels, and don’t look for some high end experience.
