Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for one night with two friends - very accessible location near several fast food places and a grocery store. Room was clean and pleasant, plenty of hot water, and the communal kitchen is really well equipped. Most importantly the staff were all lovely, including the three half grown kittens, always a bonus.

great place to experience Eilat and have fun. Located in the center of everything. Even though it was small it was clean and tidy. Beds were good after a days rest of travelling. Staff was easy to deal with. Easy walk to the beach

Horrible place to stay longer than one or two days. Pictures talk more than words Not recommended for families or longer stay. Hostel in very bad condition, old and dirty Weird decoration. Uncomfortable bed, very thin foam camping-style mattress and no bedding.

Corinne has perfect localization and very nice staff. our room was strange and quite small, but enough comfortable. 24h bakery just next to hostel, and main buss station 5 min walk. Receptionist was very helpful. One of the cheapest place in Ejlat.

We (three friends) booked one night, some days in advance. They said that if we wanted to extend our stay, we could just talk to them in the reception when we arrived. We were supposed to take the bus from Jerusalem, and would arrive to the hostel at maybe midnight. The bus didn't pick us up, so we weren't able to get our reservation. We called and tolde them what happened. They were VERY rude and said that we had to pay no matter what, and that we couldn't just call and say we weren't coming anyways (even though it wasn't our fault), they were in no way cooperative and didn't want to help us. We arrived to the Hostel the next morning, and asked if we at least could extend our stay as the wrote in the email. The moste rude and unprofessional man was in the reception and refused that the Hostel had send us an email. We showed the email and he just rolled his eyes almost shouted at us and would in no way help us, listen to us or event rent us the family room that was still free. Such an awful attitude and place and of course we left and found a much nicer hostel.

The staff was not at all service minded and also, they was rude and direct unhelpful. We Emailed in advance asking to extend our booking, they said we would manage that on arrival, when we arrived it wasn’t possible to extend our booking – for real? why do you think I Emailed… turns out that even though they did have an available room, they wouldn’t or “couldn’t” rent it for us because of their IT-system.

I arrived Eilat early by the night bus, so I asked to store my luggage before going hiking. The rude receptionist told me that I have 10 minutes exactly to do it and leave the place and not to return before check in time. Normally in a hostel they would let the guest at least make tea in the common room... When I checked in, they cheated me with the change and refused to give me the exact change once I commented. The "shared kitchen" is under equiped and has nowhere for actually cooking, unless a microwave is enough for you. The staff are always angry and shouting. Also the design is extremely weird. The positive points are that it is clean and located just next to the bus station. However, because of the awful staff and bad vibe, I will never stay there again for any cost.

I stayed here for a night back in December 2017. I am putting in the effort to write a review now because it is a hostel that needs to be shared on how disgusting the staff treat travellers here. I got here late at night and was able to book a bed on arrival, though another solo female traveller, who had reserved 6 nights in advanced got refused- he was fine to just leave her with nowhere to stay late at night. She was yelled at and talked to in a disrespectful foul manner by a very unprofessional gentleman working at reception. An angry man who you could tell did not want to be there. Thankfully another solo traveller who witnessed this incident aswell was kind enough to let us stay in her over-priced private room, because she also was screwed around with her reservation. All the staff made you feel very uncomfortable with how unnecessary rude and unfriendly they were. Told to go bed at 10pm or they would call cops, when chatting in common area quietly, not disruptive at all. Weird statues everywhere that just give it an even creepier vibe. Glad I met some lovely travellers from a shocking experience. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else that is properly managed and welcoming :)!!!

Since you open the door it seems like they don’t want you there.. The only important thing is the money.. obviously! But be at least tiny bit nice as no’1 stay there for free!! They don’t give information's about anything, they rude and unhelpful. The beds are the simplest ever and on the lower ground floor which feels like you in a basement or worse..! There were so many free rooms where I asked to be move to as uncleanly smelling person didn't let me sleep - obviously they laugh it off!! Never again !!

Walked in to make reservation, the people ahead of me (2) staying for one night was 129 NIS, when it was my turn to make reservation he said 70 NIS for one night. When I asked why is it more for me he said “I don’t need any bulsh*t, leave now” Will do buddy, you’re not the only hostel in Eilat. Recommend an attitude adjustment, cause the way you’re going now you’ll soon be out of business.
