How can you screw up a buffet breakfast? Let me explain .... Employees(?) (Members of the kibbutz) just mailing it in. No interest in guests - experience, cleanliness, or food preparation. Sorry to say this is fairly typical of what passes for service in Israel.
Words are not enough to tell so I add some photos of the food serving. You can find this "hidden" restaurant from google maps marked Capot Tmarim. There is food for meat lovers, vegans and all others for sure. I wonder if anyone leaves here dissatisfied. Easily over 200 dishes. Absolutely best dinner in Eilat!
The accommodation is very basic. Bed is hard. Air condition is stuck on 24 degrees without a remote - as a policy - difficult in the evening when you want to adjust the temp. Breakfast is very basic. Pool is shared with the sunrise hotel which is an 'all inclusive' hotel. you get there temp to the good and bad. 3 min drive from Eilat
I came to Eilot with a group that held a short conference at the kibbutz. The hospitality was flawless, the abundance and variety of food served at every meal was outstanding. The staff at the dining hall and the office made sure everyone was comfortable and all needs were met . The guest unit was spacious and clean, the atmosphere outdoors was so pleasant- peaceful and tranquil. We loved the hammock by the room, lying on it at night and letting the pleasant breeze help us relax. Eilot is three min drive from busy Eilat. Staying at Eilot allowed us to enjoy a quiet retreat and choose when we want to be part of the bustling town. I had a hard time leaving the kibbutz and I cannot wait till I visit again.
highly recommended to walk around the beautiful kibbutz paths. If there is a show of Elad Theater, it is recommended to book tickets. A lovely view of the Eilat Gulf from the dining room Very close to Eilat and Timna Park.
Exellent and versatile food with good price. Best food in Eilat! Don't miss shabbat meal! Loistava mesta, josta saa laadukasta safkaa kohtuulliseen hintaan. Sapattiateriaa ei kannata missata! Vahva suositus 👍
Nice kibbutz hotel located 5 minutes by car from the city, 5 minutes from the Jordanian border, ideal location. Free parking! Nice spacious rooms with nice bathroom and shower. Quiet place so you can enjoy the small terrace at the entrance of your room. Nice breakfast with everything you want for breakfast and more.
We (family of 4) stayed in Eilot for the weekend (Thursday - Saturday). The apartment was nice, clean, comfortable, air condition was good, breakfast in the kibbutz was very good (Saturday better than Friday) , and Friday dinner was excellent. Access to the hotel pool was a good bonus. We came with a car, so no problems going to our diving activities.
Five minute drive from Eilat, you really feel like you are staying on a Kibbutz (which you are). So pretty to walk around. Much lower price than an Eilat hotel, full breakfast with a big emphasis on fresh vegetables, rooms are once again no frills but functional. When you see a squeegie in the bathroom to sweep the water from the shower down the drain, you know what I mean. Rooms were big enough. I liked the single rooms with the little private table and chairs outside. We also had dinner on Friday night which had millions of choices. Fridge, coffee and tea are in the room., We are planning on going back next year.
Stayed here for one night and found it a wonderful alternative to staying in an Eilat hotel, it was a lovely spot on the outskirts of town, the staff were welcoming and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The room we had was basic but comfortable with good air conditioning and cable tv (should you want to spend time watching tv!). There were lovely garden areas to relax in hammocks in outside and the breakfast was just fantastic! There was such a huge choice of food, the usual range of delicious Israeli breakfast foods plus more, there was something that was sure to please everyone. It was a short drive into Eilat to the beach and restaurants but if you like to be out of the 'hustle and bustle' and enjoy a more relaxed vibe this is the place for you. I wouldn't hesitate to return, my family and I really enjoyed our short stay here.…
