Bunksurfing Hostel is a pretty standard hostel, with multiple bunkbeds in a room, shared bathrooms, and travelers coming in and out. When it comes to a hostel, you usually get the same deal in terms of cleanliness and privacy, so it really comes down to the kindness of the staff. And let me tell you, Salah is one of the kindest people I have ever met ever. I got a migraine and was unable to explore Bethlehem. He made me tea, bought me food, and even made me soup! It was as if we had known each other for years. He gives rides if you're far away from the hostel and even gives tours. His kindness is definitely contagious and I can't wait to go back.

This hostel has become the place where I go every now and then for a few days to chill and just to have nice time. The area is very quiet with friendly neighbours - expect to be welcomed at all times. Every day I walked from there to different locations, and enjoyed the views. There're also amenities nearby to buy food. Salah is a great host, he's knowledgeable, open minded and friendly. Also Ali, his brother, is a great person always willing to help. I will come back again to this place. Totally recommended.

Salah offers an incredible value with his hostel. Rooms are clean, neighborhood is interesting, and Salah provides amazing company. The hostel has a nice feel to it, and Salah provides incredibly informative and interesting tours of Bethlehem. Salah's knowledge is unparalleled, and really offers the experience of a local. Can't wait to come back soon.

Bunksurfing's Salah is an amazing and very helpful host. He offers walking tours in Bethlehem and with transport to surrounding areas. Salah took us to a Monastery 30 minutes outside of the city to watch the sunrise and it was breathtaking. The hostel showers have plenty of hot water. The location is very nice because it's on a quiet area just outside of the city noise. They also rent tents and provide excellent camping and hiking recommendations! Salah really makes you feel like you're at home. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Definitively coming back in the near future.
