The only good thing about this hotel is the location and a fairly friendly staff. The rooms are dirty, the shower curtain is knee-lenght and it is hardly possible to take a shower without flooding the whole bathroom, plus there is absolutely no extra towel to wipe it up. The food is edible, but no more than that. I definitely do not recommend.

The hotel is filthy, the furniture is old, the bathroom was dirty. Several guests from my group complained that they were not able to sleep as their windows faced the main street. There was also a water/air system that made noises and you could hear it all night. The food was bad, we had rice and potatoes every day. Those 3 stars should be 2 or 1. The dirty bathroom was the worst for me.

We have been staying at the Alexander for years. It’s a great family run hotel . In a great location in Bethlehem. Walking distance to manger square . The folks who run the hotel make you feel like family ! I highly recommend it for groups or individual stays. Chief Joey makes some great meals !

I stayed for one week at the Alexander Hotel and I left with great memories. It is not a luxurious hotel, in fact it is a standard one, but the staff and the family of Mr. Joseph make you feel like home. They provide everything you need at any time. More than you may expect. You gonna check in as a guest, but you will check out as friends. Great location in the mais street of Bethlehem, just a 10 minute walk to the Nativity Church, surrounded by restaurantes and minimarkets and near the separation wall and the bus station. A great choice and for a for value. I would be back for sure and I hope to be back one day in the beautiful and extremely friendly Palestine. Magical days that will be forever remembered.

Great hospitality from this family owned hotel. Rooms were average but featured a new bed. Joey, the hotel owner, makes the best omelette for breakfast. Really personal and helpful hospitality. In a great location for walking to Manger Square and restaurants. Great help with securing cabs and tours.
