Smallish hotel which is especially great because of the owner! He was extremely attentive- we had been caught in rain and he made us hot drinks on arrival, nothing was too much trouble. He booked the ferry for us and rang the hire car company. We wish we had used him more for tours etc. Great breakfast and nice spacious...

My wife and I made the short walk from Selçuk train station to Nazar Hotel. We were welcomed by Ilker, the hotel owner, who speaks perfect English. The hotel was almost empty due to other travellers cancelling because of recent terrorist activities in Istanbul and so we had our upgraded. The owner was really helpful. After we had dumped our...

Great hotel to stay, staff are really helpful and try to always make your stay pleasant and the value is reasonable. Location is nice as well 3 to 5 minutes walk from all the attractions. This was my second stay at this hotel and wouldn't mind coming back if I get to visit this wonderful city again.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Nazar this past weekend and have nothing but great things to say. First off, if you are looking for a five star experience, this is not the hotel for you, but that was not what we were looking for, and that is not how the hotel is advertised. This hotel is a very...

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He speaks excellent english, which helped us get a lot of info for not only selcuk but istanbul and other general info in turkey. He even helped book a room in turkey for a god price ( i did my research). Hotel rooms were very clean and warm during the winter. To me,...

Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. Unfortunately, the owner was away for the duration of our stay in hospital. Regardless, he organised for his father (who despite not speaking much English was a lovely man) and a friend who did speak English to come pick us up from the airport. His friend then proceeded to organise a tour of...

Ilker and Elise literally saved our trip from ruin by going above and beyond! We had rented a one-way from Izmir and drove down to Selcuk. 30 minutes into the journey, the GPS gave out and the car rental place refused to do anything about it (thanks again for that, Avis!) We somehow made it to Hotel Nazar by asking...

The hotel owner is extremely helpful and oriented us to the town, must see attractions, and even helped us get medication when one of our friends got sick. For the price we paid, the hotel is of great value. We originally booked a family room for 4 people (2 couples) but since it was low season, he gave us an...

This hotel is at a good location and owner speaks fluent English, so you will have no issues in asking questions and planning your trip while you are there, breakfast is OK, not that great, the service is excellent, the owner is so kind and helpful, the rooms are comfortable. The town is small but is near to pamukkale and...

Frankly, we didn't think the hotel was that great. The location is wonderful but our room was damp, somewhat smelly, and overpriced. Breakfast was so-so. However, Ilker is an amazing host:he gave us excellent advice, helped out with transport and car rental, and went well beyond any job description in making our stay in Selcuk a good one. We really...
