This charming hotel surpasses the quality indicated by its photos on Trip Advisor. We stayed at the Kalehan in September while touring Ephesus and every aspect of our stay was great! The hotel is located right on a major commercial street in Selcuk, but it is surrounded by mature trees and shrubs, so there was no view of, or noise...

We stayed there 2nights in the mid of September. On reservation, staffs were pretty helpful for choosing a good room when my husband said I'm pregnant. Well located in the center of Selcuk, it's convenient to visit Artemis tapnagi or museum inside the city as well as Efes or Sirince village which are both several kilometers away. Staffs were so...

This is not a 5 star luxury hotel with all the amenities..And for that I am glad. It is one of those charming little hotels that you remember and are glad you found.Or at least we were. It is just a few blocks from the center of Selcuk (easy walking) and has ok parking- we didn't have a problem on...

If you are staying in Selcuk chances are you will be spending your day drinking in the sights of Ephesis. The Kalehan hotel is the perfect place to retreat to after the heat of the ruins. The garden is a lush oasis with lots of shaded places to sit and read and the pool has a real 5* vibe with...

The grounds were very spacious & very relaxing. The pool was a welcome relief. The standard room is rather small but adequate for a short stay ( upgrade to a larger room if possible). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was good for the evening meal, as was breakfast. Drinks at the pool bar were a...

Stayed in Hotel Kalehan on the way to Istanbul. Had a fantastic time really enjoyed the pool, bar and restaurant as well as the beautifully kept garden with resident turtles. We had a twin room on the ground floor which was spacious and comfy. Could not fault the service at all with all staff so helpful and attentive. Would definitely...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and truly enjoyed our experience. We got in early the first day and were allowed a late departure after the second night. We were upgraded to a larger ground floor room. The breakfast was great, though typical of the region. We enjoyed the swimming pool. The water and air conditioning worked...

Great hotel, with a relaxed atmosphere. The room was comfortable and had many amenities including wireless internet. The food was also very good. The best thing about Hotel Kalehan is the staff. They are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Had an excellent stay, and hope to come back again soon!

We stayed at Kalehan with our children on the way from Istanbul to Bodrum. The hotel is on the main road in the entrance of Selçuk however, rooms are silent&clean. Beds are ok, however it was too hot to sleep. At night It took us 5-6 hours to cool down our room at the top floor to 24-25 C with...
