We stayed 4 nights here at this location, the hotel staff is friendly and help to get you decent deals on cruises and tours, good prices will require some negotiation. I'd recommend this location for sightseeing the SultanAhmet area (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and a few other museums in the area). There are a few good restaurants nearby and shops... More

I will recommend if you are coming for sightseeing although if you are not much of a walker i would avoid this location. All facilities provided were good. be aware they have different premises around this area so it might depend whats given to you but generally this is a backstreets area where you will find shops restaurants etc. the... Location is good though it's downhill so walking uphill to visit all the nearby sores is exhausting. Staff are trying to be friendly at fit but if you don't buy other services from them you'll see the other side. Rooms are not child safe and stairs are horribe. However the room itself was nice - I stayed at the family... More

It was not our first time in Istanbul. Usually we stayed with friends but this time we had to take a hotel. Price was very reasonable would even say cheap so was not expecting much. We stayed for nights. We arrived very early and were prepared to pay extra for early check in. Instead we decided upgrade to suite in... More

The hotel has multiple buildings, all located very close to each other and the office. We found an excellent price on Expedia. On arrival they showed us different rooms available for upgrade for nominal addition charge. We declined the upgrades and were very happy with our smallish room. Everything clean, furniture dated but functional, room included fridge, microwave, hot water... More

The small hotel is in the old town of Istanbul, fairly close to blue mosque. Suite is good and clean. Furniture are not very new but compared to the price, I'd say it is lovely. it provides hot water. Also provide free safe.

We booked two nights in double room, got upgraded to deluxe room with terrace on the roof with amazing view. I just wished we had more time so we could have made our own breakfast or dinner with bottle of delicious Turkish wine :))) This place feels so cozy, super clean with towels and toiletries... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
