Well, the hotel is strictly average, stayed here for two nights over the new year's eve. The location is good as well as bad, good because you can walk down to Istiklal Street, bad because that means the streets are always crowded. There is a construction going on in the adjacent area, but I never heard anything while I was...

It was a very nicely decorated hotel. The room and bathroom were nice, big, and clean. The hotel is also in a good location right near Taksim square. We had wonderful service from Deniz. He was incredibly nice and helpful and showed us what to do and where to go!

I have stayed in Lush Hotel twice.. The location of Lush Hotel is really good. The hotel is so close to both Istiklal street and Cihangir in which you can find many good cafes and restaurants. Moreover the hotel is also close to the shuttles to both Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen Airports. The staff of the hotel is both kind...

The hotel is situated in the center of the city. I believe it has 35 rooms, each of them having a different layout. The restaurant downstairs is amazing! The staff is wonderful. It is a hip hotel, providing you luxury! I'd absolutely recommend staying here!

The hotel itself was fine. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly clean. The breakfast was included and was wonderful. The breakfast was probably the best part of the stay. The big drawback for this hotel is it location. It is very central in Taksim. For the day - perfect, for the night, don't expect to get a good...

Very average hotel in a crowded and noisy neighborhood. The lobby is dusty and cluttered. We booked for three nights but ran away after one night. The building next door is being re-habilitated as an addition to the hotel. Construction goes on until very late at night, past 9 pm, using noisy hammer drills producing monotonous pounding noise that is...

The hotel is in a great spot but be sure to ask for a room NOT on the main road. Our room was loud, very loud. You can walk out the front door and be just minutes from Taksim Square, shops, and restaurants. The bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, but wifi and breakfast were good.

I really wanted to like this place. Great location, rooms are modern and the superior room is large compared to most European hotels I have stayed in. Breakfast is free and fantastic, running from 7am to 11am. However, the almost constant noise was ridiculous. The music from the neighboring restaurants and clubs was understandable, as I knew what I was...

First of all take a deep breath and scream! You're going to ISTANBUL!!! I did a solo trip for 11 nights in Istanbul and the location I chose couldn't have been better. [July 30-August 10] You are less than 1/2 a mile away from the Funicular (You don't have to walk up and down the street of doom [Siraselviler] that...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
