I spent 7 nights there with my mother in a standard double room. We were going to go for one of the best rated places on tripadvisor but I'm so glad we chose Tria. Our rate was fantastic and the room was much better than expected. Though we do not stay at fancy places. Breakfast was amazing- and I'm still...

We stayed five nights. Though we booked a room in the Tria Exclusive Hotel (where construction workings were done in the meantime), we got a very nice room in Tria Hotel, only few steps further. The room was very clean but although really comfortable. The employees have been very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the view from our room...

There were two tria hotels located back to back. My partner and I stayed in the more modern looking building. On the ground floor was the restaurant that you had to walk through to get to your room. Breakfast was served in the older charming looking building, where a delicious selection of various Turkish specialities were on offer as well...

I stayed in the Tria Hotel, Istanbul in mid- December 2009. It is very close to the Blue Mosque and Sofia Hagia. But what sets this hotel apart is the friendly and helpful staff. It is not a big hotel, which is the way I like it. I enjoyed the ample and tasy breakfasts and the cosy and pleasant atmosphere....

Our three-night stay at the Tria was a very pleasant experience. The location can't be beat, just a short walk to the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sofya. We were greeted warmly at reception upon arrival and given suggestions of how to spend our time in Istanbul. The breakfast buffet was very good. The only drawback was the room which...

I chose this hotel based on price and its central location. When I reached Istanbul the place was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and well appointed and the breakfast tasty. If I return to this city I will definitely stay there again.

Staff, breakfast, and location are all outstanding. 10 minute walk to Blue Mosque, Hajia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace, as well as tram system. Another great thing was the free transportation to and from the airport. The bathrooms were a little cramped, but that would not stop me from staying there again.

We stayed at the Tria Hotel for one week over the new year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was second-to-none, as we were able to walk to all of the major tourist attractions in Sultanahmet, Eminonu, the Bazaar district, and even as far as Taksim Square. We had a great view of the Bosphorous from our room (we...

We have stayed to Tria Hotel for 4 nights. It is a small, comfortable and clean hotel, perfectly situated to monuments as the Blue Mosque, Agia Sophia, Hippodrome, Top Capi Palace and the Cistern. It is about a five-minute-walk from all these and the tram station.Shops, cafes, restaurants and a bakery are just a breath away from the hotel. Breakfast...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
