Great location and friendly staff... 5 minutes walk away from Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque and Basillica Cistern, Topkapi Palace. The tram is just a 7 minute walk away. Benjamin (at the reception) furnished with all information and necessary maps for local attractions. Rooms on the first floor are above the breakfast area, so if possible, get rooms on higher floors.... More

If I come in Istanbul one more time I'll stay there. The Tria Hotel is very cosy, comfortable and the main plus - location in Sultanahmet! This is the best choice for people who explore city all day long and come back only for sleeping and shower.

There are so many quaint and charming restored old Ottoman houses in Sultanahmet, but I got the impression that the Tria hotel is one of the better established and respected ones. As with most older properties, the rooms tend to be are small, and there are some minor maintenance needs, Over this month, I stayed several times. The first room... More

The breakfast area was hot as the air conditioning was not working. When I asked the manager, he got very defensive asking with an attitude that "what do you want me to do?" As if I was having a crazy and out of the ordinary concern--he could make sure the air condition was fixed after the first day when the... More

Tria Hotel is located very near to Topcapi Palace and very near to all the happening place at Sultanamet. Staffs are very supportive and friendly. They also helped us with a lot of info for our tour in the city. To add with all this.....they have a roof top restaurant with a great view of the Bosphorus.

Clean room, great building, perfect location, great shower, helpful staff. The breakfast is from 7am-10:30am and was really good - even for Vegetarians. There was lots of fruit, cereal, cheeses, bread, grilled veggies, eggs, and meat. My only complaint was that the staff smokes their cigarettes in the entry way and it fills the lobby/stairwell/hallways with smoke quite often. 45... More

Clean and cosy. We had numerous day trips which departed very early in the morning; the lovely staff at the Tria Hotel prepared take away breakfasts for us every time. Perhaps not the most luxurious hotel, but we were very comfortable and had a very nice stay. Would recommend.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
