Hotel Niles Istanbul garners praise for its exceptional service, with staff members earning accolades for their attentiveness and warmth. Nestled in a prime location, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and public transportation, which many travelers find convenient. Guests have called out the cozy and traditional Turkish decor that enhances the hotel's relaxed atmosphere.
While some guests mention that rooms can be on the smaller side, the overall comfort, cleanliness, and well-appointed nature of the accommodations are frequently highlighted. The rooftop terrace, with its views and breakfast, is particularly popular, although there are mentions of street noise in certain rooms.

Hotel's Favourite
The Hotel Niles is # 1 in Istanbul. They are located in the middle of Old Town. They are located within minutes of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The hotel is a traditional Turkish hotel. The hotel is sparking clean with old Turkish antique furniture to give you a traditional experience. The front desk reception staff are extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast is included and has a vast variety of offerings. Always served hot and fresh. The rooms offer a traditional Turkish bathroom, which in itself gives you a traditional feel. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be in the middle of the Old Quarter.

Excellent little Hotel easy to walk anywhere. Great rooftop breakfast and super accommodating staff. Even under difficult circumstances with our trip cut short, they allowed us to use our prepaid reservation and come early. Definitely recommend this place and will stay again.

LOVE everything about this hotel! After a busy day, it is a beautiful and comfortable retreat. It starts when you step into the lobby and are greeted by the amazing service of the front desk. They immediately cater to whatever you request. We stayed in the junior suite with authentic Turkish decor and modern comforts. The free internet always worked too and we slept well every night in this quiet area. In the morning there is a delicious buffet breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the sea. The location is ideal, across from the Grand Bazaar and the Tramway as well as walking distance to the major sights of Sultan Ahmet and the Metro to explore other parts of the city. In addition, the prices are reasonable and it is a very good value. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again when we return to this magical city!

If you are looking for all your needs met in a very clean hotel near transportation this will be it.
The room is very clean with high shower pressure water. You will find a tissue box, water heater Kettle, instant coffee, creamer, big water bottle, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, herbal natural soap, shower cap, slippers, hangers, safety box, wall hanging for your accessories, wall charging USB ports, many electric plugs, bathroom tissue, very clean bedding, like new towels, iron room available for your needs, laundry service.
Breakfast is on a remarkable setting with lush garden and sea view serving continental/Turkish style breakfast that suits all different diets. You can refill your water anytime from the 24 hour open terrace cafe or the lobby. You can commute from Beyazit tram Station that connect you with all major Istanbul forms of transportation. You can walk to the major shopping area within less than 30 minutes depending on the location of your wish or use the Tramvay or pick up a Taxi 🚕.
All choices of restaurants surrounding you. If you are traveling for few days and would like to leave some luggage behind, the hotel will keep your luggage in a safe place for you until you come back. At this hotel you will feel like being home. My appreciation extends to all staff at this hotel that is run by the family. One last thing to mention most staff communicate and speak very well English.
Thanks to Ozan and Halil for their special kindness and care.

The welcome we got when we arrived continued throughout our stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful all the time. Mr Kemal and Oghuz, in fact everyone on the front desk helped with everything from booking transfers and finding restaurants to helping with flight check-in.
Halil, who provides guests with a beautiful, fresh breakfast every morning really gets to know the guests, their dietary requirements and likes and dislikes and makes sure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Our room was spotlessly clean all the time, as was the entire hotel. We chose a junior suite with Turkish bath and all the toiletries were replenished everyday. The slippers and robes provided for guests is a lovely touch.
Located within walking distance of many tourist attractions such as Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar it's a short walk (uphill) to the main tramline T1.
There really is nothing to fault about Hotel Niles and the wonderful people who make your stay very special. They helped us celebrate our anniversary.

What a lovely hotel this is, from first booking on line to us leaving we could not have asked for better service, I emailed twice after booking with questions, which they responded to within minutes, rooms were excellent, very clean and a very comfortable bed, best sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The location was ideal everything was within easy walking distance. We had lovely breakfasts in the roof gardens with some lovely views, the food was amazing with everything you could possibly wish to eat and lots of it. The Staff from the Manager to the Housekeepers were all very helpful and friendly a special mention must go to Mustaphe and Halil who really did look after us and made sure we wanted for nothing, Would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Niles. Our 2-level suite was perfect for the family. It was a well-designed suite, with plenty of room & 2 bathrooms, easily accommodated our family of 4 (with 2 teens). It was also a very quiet hotel. The neighborhood was busy and hustling during the day, but all action ceased at nighttime. Our room was really quiet throughout our 6 day stay. The staff were all very nice and welcoming and had great suggestions whenever we had questions about anything. The location was also great. Minutes from the Grand Bazaar and a quick walk to the Blue Mosque and other tourist destinations. We walked everywhere from this spot, though if you were inclined to take public transportation, this location is just 2 blocks from the tram. We also received a warm welcome, with the tea & lokum. We couldn't get enough lokum after that! And, the breakfast was wonderful. Halil, the main chef, was so nice. He had a wonderful selection of foods every day. All four of us looked forward to breakfast because it was so good and with healthy choices. And, when travelling, it is sometimes hard to find healthy choices, so it was a great way to start the day. And, the rooftop terrace had such a beautiful view. It was a great experience. We would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 3 nights , 2 rooms. Immaculate service, clean, very clean hotel.
Center to all sightseeing.
Junior suites rooms are updated and larger .
Other side rooms double are quite squeezed and need updating .
Very helpful staff . One night our a/c broke down and we couldn’t sleep as it was quite hot . We called them at 1 in the night and they gave us the opposite room to sleep in, extended our check out time to 4pm for no extra charge .
Halil sourced the Turkish tea glasses, and Sarelle ( Nutella) for us at prices we couldn’t find as tourist .
He always looked out for us as vegetarians .
Faith was always concerned and warm .
Special mention to the manager mr. Ozerne he would take out time to help us , explain , chat with us and hats off to him and his wife for being vegans . Total respect . No hipocrisy, true love for animals .
And special mention to a gentlemen at the reception whose name I forget, who has a striking resemblance to ranvir Singh .
P.s - But would recommend to only just visit grand bazaar, don’t buy anything in there. They hypnotize, and cheat you. Very expensive. Cheaper outside on
the streets.

Hotel Niles was very different to any other hotel we have stayed in on a city break. At first I was a little bewildered at the antique design of the hotel. We usually stay and are accustomed to a much more modern accommodation. For me, the rustic appearance was off putting on first impression. It is apparent though that the hotel is not this way from age or lack of choice to update it: this is the quirky and unique style of the hotel and it is there to add appeal.
Upon arrival, we found receptionist Ethen (I think) to be uncomfortably formal and he seemed reluctant to give much information past the formalities. We found this quite off putting - it was like trying to converse with a pre-programmed robot and I think that tainted our view the first day. The lack of information when we arrived and were extremely tired left us wondering around a bit bewildered that first afternoon: not knowing where to go and what to do. We felt better after breakfast the next morning. Breakfast is small but good quality. It serves traditional Turkish style breakfast as well as cereal, yogurt and other things. The staff at breakfast were delightful and helpful. It was a shame you had to pay for some items like omelettes but to be honest, with the breakfast offered, it wasn’t really necessary. I also liked the fact that breakfast continued until 10:30 - that way we weren’t rushed to wake up so early on our break.
Our room itself was as retro as the rest of the hotel: however, it was comfortable, very clean, warm with some thoughtful little extras like labels on the lights so you knew which was what.
The bathroom had a small amount of limited toiletries but the layout and water pressure was good and warm.
The cleaning staff were lovely. Very polite and friendly and they took pride in their work at the small hotel.
The location of the hotel is ok. It is situated in a side road in the old town. The old town is a bit shabby (don’t expect old town Rhodes or Plaka in Athens because it’s not)! But it is good walking distance from everything and the tram is a 5 minute walk up the road to take you to other tourist attraction areas of town.
Near the hotel is the Grand Bazaar (rip off bazaar) and many small random shops that sell fake bags / belts / scarves. Look around as some are very reasonable and others try to cheat you. Nothing has a price on it.
Overall the hotel has a homely, safe and welcoming feel and is ideal for those who want to stay away from larger chains. Apart from the guy when we arrived, the majority of the service at the hotel was extremely hospitality and personal. The roof terrace was wonderful for breakfast too. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

A perfect little boutique hotel with flawless service!
I’ve staying in many hotels around this area, both big ones with well-known names and at small boutique types, but this one really is value for the money!
Professional service, very clean (new sheets and towels every day which is not standard around here) and great breakfast. The breakfast is enjoyed at top floor with terrace with sea view, and the service of Halil is flawless! He’s one step before your own thoughts, bringing you more toasts or a coffee the second you realize you want it. They also have fresh made orange juice (2€) which is the first time for me in Istanbul. Halil is the right man on the right place, proud of delivering first class service, really struggling to make your stay memorable.
Only negative is no restaurant at hotel, however their friendly and very service minded Mustafa can order any food for you from outside (even wine, liquor, snacks, cigarettes etc) to enjoy at the top floor lounge with terrace.
I can really recommend Hotel Niles!

Our room had window that you could open only partially
Five minutes to the tram
It was quite conveniently close
They do. We used this service and found it convenient. Just contact the hotel to arrange it.
The Managers were very helpful but as we had a guide we never asked them! They did arrange transport to and from the airport but we did not check out if they provided other services!
The hotel is on a side street and although it can be difficult sometimes to get picked up we managed to get an Uber a few times who found us fairly easily. I would say it's only a few minutes walk to the main road for easier pick up. Hope that helps.
