Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have travelled everywhere around the globe over the last 50 years and stayed in some of the top class hotels . Ones that you would expect to be at that level. We didn't expect the amazing quality that this particular hotel offers its guests. Attentive staff in every area. Quality is a very personal measurement but in this hotel quality is everywhere in service, attention to detail, respect for guests and that's from management through to the people who are servicing the rooms. This hotel is exemplary and actually needs to be shown as higher star rating. Thank you for a great holiday experience. Best wishes Ozman and his team . From David and Theresa

Hotel's Favourite
Hotel Niles is a lovely small boutique hotel placed in excellent position to walk to most of the famous attractions that Istanbul has to offer and shopping that leaves you amazed! It has been renovated in a traditional style to a high standard. My room was perfect - clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was effective. The staff were all friendly and helpful at all times. The roof terrace is a pleasant place where you have breakfast but can use day and night - the night lights are quite lovely to see. I will definitely stay there again and can recommend to my friends.

As per recommendation by our friend, we stayed 3 nights at this charming boutique hotel. We were welcomed as we arrived with warm sweet apple tea, friendly service. Our room was clean , the bed was comfortable and our pillows were fluffy. Our stay came with breakfast which had a variety of choices , everything was fresh. There is a rooftop that you can enjoy in the Evening. It is well situated, you can walk to the Grand Bazzar, to the historic monuments and buildings, yes of course to the Blue Mosque. Lots of restaurants and shopping around.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay. The staff are all extremely helpful and responsive, they clearly care about their hotel and really make sure you have the best stay possible with a personal touch. We were there during Ramadan and it was great to be able to start the day with a healthy breakfast and not have to worry about food too much during the day. A short walk to the tram just a couple stops (or 20 minute walk) to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Oh and the lobby and bedroom decors is absolutely gorgeous, really classy almost out of a movie. The building is clearly being loved and taken care of. Would definitely stay again on a future trip!

What a lovely and unique hotel. I loved the roof garden with all the amazing plants. Breakfast was authentic Turkish and very yummy. The staff are sooo nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this independently run hotel. So much nicer than a standard hotel.

Excellent stay in old Istanbul. Great location, comfortable rooms and an amazing staff who were helpful and kind. Breakfast was homemade and served by a kind staff on the terrace overlooking the sea, and the desk staff were more than happy to help with any arrangements or recommendations. We will stay again if we return to Istanbul.
