This hotel was centrally located and decently priced , the bigger room fitted 3 people comfortably. The staff were friendly and breakfast had a wide spread - it was very close to tram lines and walking distance from major attractions in the area
Nice decorating. spacious room. location is very good. near to a lot of attraction. just few hundred meters from tram station. good services from the hotel staff. you can request coffee or tea from the room service for free.
I initially booked for 3 nights, then ended up by staying the entire week I enjoyed it so much. The location is superb - close to many main tourist attractions, but on a pedestrianised street, hence it is far more peaceful than nearer the Tramway....More
I am torn between a rock and a hard place writing this review as it’s a hidden gem of Istanbul that I don’t want to share!
As you can see from previous reviews I have frequented this hotel since 2007 (yes...that makes me feel old!)....More
I love this hotel! The location was perfect (located at Gulhane tram station), walking distance to all main things to see . Friendly staff, clean room. Excellent value for money, hope to be back again!
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
