Excellent location in Sultanahmet 2 minutes from the Blue Mosque & Aya Sofia, however, overall disappointed with my stay after reading all the positive reviews. There were ants in the bed, the air conditioner did not work, the lobby lift door was locked shut so got stuck in the lift until someone came to unlock the door after 5 minutes....

I loved our stay here very much. First of all it's a great location. 2 mins away from blue mosque and probably 5 mins from Hagia Sophia. The staff members were very friendly and trustful. The rooms are clean. View from the roof top was amazing. Thank you for everything Agora boutique

I stayed at Agora Boutique hotel last December and it was an unbelievable experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel nice and clean. Located in the heart of the city, it was very easy to visit all the main sights. Overall good price/quality and would definitely go back next time!

My boyfriend and I booked two nights here but fled after one night due to a horrible night's sleep, a dirty room, and poor service. When we arrived, the receptionist was very confused (spoke almost no english) and we waited for ten or fifteen minutes while he figured out that I had made a reservation (and clearly our room was...

OK- it is not a 4 star hotel. I was told by other guests, that had been coming there for years, thatit was previously a hostel, and they kept coming back because they enjoyed it. They were a retired couple, and enjoyed the place. I had a choice of a few rooms as the hotel wasn't busy. One was larger...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
