But if you stay here you will. After a long flight, I realized me and my wife had a 20 hour layover. Tired and worn out, we made our way to the hotel desk, with no prior research of the area. We paid 100Euros for the night, and were driven to a part of town I will affectionaly refer to...

Worst experience of 'how a hotel should NOT be'. Came into istanbul on a 19-hour transit thinking Turkish airlines was going to give me a hotel (they call centre actually told me so) but i was shocked to be told I wasn't going to get one. Confused frustrated and tired, I moved to the nearest hotel check in desk and...

I had a 13 hour layover in Istanbul but Turkish Airlines wouldn't give me the free hotel I should have gotten based on their website, so I had to book and pay myself through one of the private hotel agents in arrivals. I asked for the closest to the airport with two way transfer and was shown the Yeni Sefa...

On our way to Iran, we had a layover in Istanbul for a full day (early morning to before midnight). When we arrived at the airport, we asked for somewhere to stay that was nearby the airport. They suggested Hotel Yeni Sefa, told us it was within a mile of the airport and showed us some pictures of the rooms...

Trying to find a hotel near the airport, we were shown pictures of the hotel and told it was within a mile of the airport. A van drove us and another couple to the hotel, which was further than a mile and in a residential area. The room on the 6th floor was very bare in amenities. Only one bath...

This is one of the hotels suggested by the airport agencies that provide hotels for travelers new to Istanbul, and who are looking for something cheap and near the airport. In fact we were planning to leave early the next morning to fly back to California so, on paper, this looked okay. We booked two rooms and the booking included...

I had a 19 hour layover in Istanbul, so I went to one of the hotel booking agents in the arrivals part of the airport to try and get myself set up with somewhere to rest. Unfortunately they came me this place. For €75 per night (for which I had to pay 2 nights due to awkwardly arriving at 1am...

I was unfortunate enough to have a 21 hour layover in Istanbul, and Turkish Airlines (worst Airline in Eurasia) wouldn't provice me with a hotel. As I needed somewhere to crash for the night and didn't have time to search for a hotel, I booked this via one of the booking agents in the arrivals lobby. Initially they wanted 130...

Our ordeal with this hotel began with the scam they've clearly arranged with certain airport hotel agents who send you here under the guise of offering reasonable accommodations at an affordable price. The accommodations turned out to be far from reasonable and the price barely affordable. From the dirty rooms, to the filthy bathroom with multiple broken fixtures, to the...

I am not a smoker but I woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of smoke. It was so bad I had to open the window (even though it was November) to get fresh air in the room. The hotel has 2 lovely views of alleys and it's just off the beaten path. You can walk...
