The reviews are pretty much right on target for this hotel. The location is excellent... just steps from the Metro. And it is only a short walk to restaurants, shopping and sights, The rooms are clean but very small. I would stay here again. But one thing to keep in mind... service is limited. As you probably read, no bottled...

This hotel has a good location. Just behind the hotel after a 200 metres walk comes Istiklal Street, one of the happening places in Istanbul having all sorts of shops, pubs and restaurants and thereon after a 15-20 minute walk, the huge Taksim Square. Also the Galata Tower is behind the hotel. To get to the old city areas of...

Very clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet. Excellent value for the price. Great location: 2 minutes walk to Sishane metro station, 5 minutes walk to Galata tower with many nice restaurants in the neighborhood, 10 minutes walk to Galata bridge. From the breakfast room you have a great view of the Golden Horn. Free, fast Wifi.

Staffs are rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. Very small rooms, was too warm and The air-condition was very week. Totally it shouldn't be a 4 star hotel, I would say three star is more than enough for this Hotel.

We stayed in this hotel on 13th to 16th July 2014. we were given a tiny dark smelly room. Staff are bordering on rude, unprofessional. The list price at reception was 200 Euro for a double - which no one would ever pay!!. If this hotel was listed as a Budget Hotel then it is fine but to claim 4...

Clean and quite small (which is actually tipical for Istanbul hotels) standard rooms with needful toiletry. No view from the most windows (usually to the dark backyard or dark corners). Good turkish breakfast in the hotel restaurant (at least, olives, tomatos, different sorts of cheese, boiled eggs and bread were always availiable). The bottles of water are not replenished in...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
