My wife and I stayed here in early February right after the unfortunate bombing near the mosque, so things were very, very quiet. Regardless we were both impressed with the standard of the hotel - the staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating, the rooms were kept spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location was amazing. From...

Large rooms, great and helpful staff. Plentiful breakfast on a balcony with views of the blue mosque and the bosphorus staight and bridges. Within walking distance to all the main sights. Couldn't do better for the service and price. Will stay here again.

It was really lovely to stay at Saba Hotel. We really enjoyed the panorama from the top view of the hotel while having our breakfast. Furthermore, from the hotel, we can just walked to the most of attraction places in Istanbul such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. We really enjoyed and I would recommend this...

If you want a hotel close to the places you want to see at a reasonable price, this is the hotel for you. It is a 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia or Basilica Cistern. The Tram is only a few blocks away. They have a rooftop dining area that has a view of all the aforementioned...

- Everything was great, very friendly & helpful staff, service, amenities. - The location is super-central, 5 min walk from metro & must-see places. - Kettle/tea/coffee in rooms - Personalized response for non-standard requests - not sure the place is quiet enough for everyone's taste, but it wasn't an issue for us Overall, its above-the-expectation place for such a central...

We stayed at Hotel Saba four nights. Even though we checked the location on Google maps, we were surprised to find that the location of Hotel Saba is just around the corner of the Blue Mosque, and within a 5 minute walking distance of Aya Sophia. The view from the rooftop, where breaksfast is served, is amazing: the Blue Mosque,...

Within walking distance to everything. Receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast was really good and plenty of food and tables to eat at. Even a couple of tables on the balcony with a wonderful view of the blue mosque and the harbour. Even watched a submarine come in. Close to places to eat. Rooms spacious and very clean . Loved it....

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
