If you wanna a hotel w daily breakfast on its roof top, this is the place to stay. Super clean. Good bathroom with bathtub. Their radiator seems to be shut off during the night though. Boutique hotel, so do expect its small size.

Love this hotel, clean and comfortable. Staff is awesome, we stayed for two nights, left for Gallipoli and Troy for a night, we were greeted with "Welcome Home!!!" upon our return. Fantastic rooftop breakfast with incredible views. The hippodrome is practically in your backyard, easy and safe walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and many other sites. We look...

Had a great stay and the hotel is so close to many main attractions that I could even do some sightseeing on my tight schedule. Rooms small but clean. Staff very friendly. Helped me with finding my way and organizing my day. Will definitely go back. Picture shows the view from the deck where breakfast is served. Typical Turkish style...

Literally just steps from blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc. Views from roof top breakfast room to Hippodrome and water. Very friendly, helpful staff, family-run feel. Room was simple, comfortable, everything we wanted. Wish we could have stayed longer.

There's a lot of good things I want to say about this hotel. First, location is perfect. It's very near to hippodrome and Blue mosque. It will be a good hotel for the old city tour. The neighborhood is peaceful. My friend and I (both females) never felt scared to roam around at night within the vicinity. There's a Chinese...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
