I would only recommend this hotel provided you get a good deal on the price, as I am sure there are better places to stay in the area (Sultanahmet).
What I didn't like:
- the air/con broke down a few times overnight and was generally...More
The hotel was all we could have asked for. It was our first time in Istanbul, so staying close to all the must-see tourist sites was perfect. The roof terrace where we had breakfast every morning was fantastic. We also had a pleasant (although somewhat...More
As others have commented, the hotel is within minutes of walking distance to the top sights in Old Town, and also an easy walk to the street car.

Disappointing stay. The pictures shown on the website were beautiful but it doesn't represent the real thing. Aircondition doesn't work well. The room we got on third floor was very small. Internet access was very poor quality. Service from the front desk varied a lot,...More

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

sorry just seeing this. There is park area around Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque. There are small stores near the hotel where you can buy some snacks, fruit, drinks, but no supermarkets.
This is in old Sultanahmet area.
